This is not to say he never experienced his fair share of hardship but he was from what most people will agree to be a wealthy home.
Christian Dior was born on the 21st of January, 1905 in Gransville, a provincial coastal town in the Normandy region of France. He was the second of five children. Unlike other large families, Dior's family was not impoverished and they had a house full of children.
Dior and his siblings got the care and education that any child would be happy to have. This was because his parents were well-to-do and they didn't spare a cent in giving their children the best life could offer.
