Hi again, an uncle(my father's brother) and aunt (his wife) of mine lived somewhere in Bourtange, I visited them when I was in the Netherlands in 1984 I think it was after been in Australia for 7 years . I didn't really know what Bourtange was all about till your video. Shame I didn't know and explored the place further, but the visit was more about catching up with them and talking about his passing in 1974 and his life with his brother in general.
They both then worked at the same factory in Groningen (Agrunol) a pesticide factory in which I managed to set a fire to some yellow shit after I cleaned the yard after spraying my fathers new moped (second hand) a different colour, (was on school holidays and he took me with him during his night shift) and some droplets got into the storage drums of something called Manep I think it was and it spontaneously self combusted after a while.
I was not allowed back on site after that lol. Agrunol (spelling?) is now rather infamous after some massive clean up after they closed down, but yeah , I set fire to it some day long time ago lol..... It was an accident though, I was a stupid 13 or 14 year old or something lol
My father died of a very rare disease of which he was the fifth recorded in medical history in 1974, and I have no doubt it had something to do with the pesticide factory

Hi, you should definitely give Bourtange a visit.
It sounds like, it was an accident setting that place on fire but good or bad all are memories :)
I am sorry for your father. I hope he had a beautiful, joyful life with his family
