Someone told me to push my Nollies forward while leaving my body behind or leaning back. This was the biggest trick tip that made me realize the proper motion. Hope this makes sense, maybe you guys can try it out but remember when you do it, keep the board under you (of course)
@@WendyOryen you can learn it by doing down into a bank, just start without pop and then slowly pop more and more. It’s like a little nudge forward right before your pop. It helps the momentum of the board forward

Just set your play back speed to the slowest and you will see.
forcing my back foot to flick feels like trying to write in chinese with my left hand... im still trying tho. thanks for the tips... if my nollie flip matched my fakie flip i would be loving life
if you set your play back speed to the slowest you can see how critical his back foot angle allows the flick to be delayed so that the pop off the nose can happen, you need to have a solid nollie though because if you dont then even understanding how this trick is done proper you will never have board control with it.

When I learned switch flips I started by trying switch varial flips. Idk why but it helped me to flick properly, so if you have problems with switch flips try that!

I can nollie like 6-7 stairs and switch Ollie maybe a 5 sw front 180 is a warm up trick for me down any gap but I can't get these damn nollie flips down I can only do nollie heels.

Just wanted to point out something that I lot of non-native speakers get tripped up on. You're pronouncing "perfect" wrong in this context. Perfect can be a verb or an adjective. You say it right for an adjective but when it's a verb you should put the emphasis on the other syllable. Like this: "That trick was PER-fect" or "How to perFECT nollie flips" Keep up the awesome vids man :)

You have to make your back leg bend like the way yours does ..........I get it now. That is what creates the delay of the flick.
