The worst part is that most of the mobile games then are still around, but ruined beyond repair and stripped of their former glory by the sheer power of corporate greed...
Halfbrick Studios still isn't greedy, they still update Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride regularly. Monster Dash was a failure so they don't update it anymore which is understandable.
Or when the ads used to be just images or gifs that you could instantly skip so they weren't even that annoying. (Also you can just put adblocker on ur phone. People keep complaining, they don't do research.)

I was born in 2009 too, and even if the nostalgia hits us harder than most things, I know that we have to work for the world to become a better place because if we dont take action and solve the current problems like climate changes or wars, we wont be able to let the newer generations to have those kinds of childhoods, and maybe we could even dont let the games that will be as important to them as those were for us die

Когда я познал креаторство(создание уровней), геометри деш мне стала приносить даже больше эмоций чем раньше

Ну а также как тогда, так и наверное сейчас, есть настоящие бриллианты вроде Kingdom Rush, которые бесплатно предлагают тебе замечательную игру, за которую по хорошему вообще то надо платить.

Конечно сейчас тоже есть хорошие игры на Смартфоны, но их очень мало (и в основном они были сделаны тогда). Новые хорошие игры на телефоны которые не портированы с ПК можно пересчитать по пальцам

We are the last generation to experience games like these. Cut the rope, block city wars, tiny thief, angry birds, bad piggies, toca boca, angry birds go, minion rush, etc… most of these games have been completely delisted, which leads to them being completely forgotten. Anyone past 2015 will never know or experience the peak of mobile gaming. We are the only ones.

I was born in 2010, and I grew up with Clash of Clans, and Plants vs. Zombies. CoC was my entire childhood tbh. However, I have a younger brother that plays cringe mobile games, and I'm not proud of him.
Shadow Fight 2 is one of my favourite games of all time and it's a MOBILE GAME! That just goes to show that in that era you didn't have to buy expensive consoles and cds of your favourite games because you had amazing games for free; in that era the creator of those games just wanted to prove that anything a console game coud do a mobile game could do better; and the best part is that sometimes it DID!

@@zulhilmib057I disagree. Smash Hit isn't too simple for its own good; it had everything it needed to be a great game. A video game doesn't need to be complicated in order to be good. Some of the other games in this video, like Jetpack Joyride and Fruit Ninja for example, are simple, yet amazing titles. There's only so much to them, and yet they're still some of the best mobile games out there.

Да и к тому же, в начале 2010-х мало кто носил телефон с собой в школу - либо хулиганы отберут, либо родители не разрешат. Сейчас я смотрю на рекламу современных мобильных игр и у меня эта реклама вызывает только одно чувство - желание выключить интернет на телефоне часа на два и поиграть в Cut the rope или Temple Run, попутно закусывая булочкой с маком и запивая всё это дело зеленым чаем.

We are the last generation to experience games like these. Cut the rope, block city wars, tiny thief, angry birds, bad piggies, toca boca, angry birds go, minion rush, etc… most of these games have been completely delisted, which leads to them being completely forgotten. Anyone past 2015 will never know or experience the peak of mobile gaming. We are the only ones.

I don’t know what’s worse: The fact they make enough of a profit off these from in game purchases and adverts to keep putting in the minimum amount of effort, the fact that CZcams and others warp their business practices to milk them while allowing BIG problems with their platform to deliberately continue, or the fact that I’m pretty sure most of these new ones are loaded with malware anyway and the App Store is OK with that?

I was born in 2010, and I grew up with Clash of Clans, and Plants vs. Zombies. CoC was my entire childhood tbh. However, I have a younger brother that plays cringe mobile games, and I'm not proud of him.
Vector, Shadow Fight and Smash Hit were my entire personality when I was a kid.

Shadow Fight 2 is one of my favourite games of all time and it's a MOBILE GAME! That just goes to show that in that era you didn't have to buy expensive consoles and cds of your favourite games because you had amazing games for free; in that era the creator of those games just wanted to prove that anything a console game coud do a mobile game could do better; and the best part is that sometimes it DID!

Some of the other games in this video, like Jetpack Joyride and Fruit Ninja for example, are simple, yet amazing titles. There's only so much to them, and yet they're still some of the best mobile games out there.

Да и к тому же, в начале 2010-х мало кто носил телефон с собой в школу - либо хулиганы отберут, либо родители не разрешат. Сейчас я смотрю на рекламу современных мобильных игр и у меня эта реклама вызывает только одно чувство - желание выключить интернет на телефоне часа на два и поиграть в Cut the rope или Temple Run, попутно закусывая булочкой с маком и запивая всё это дело зеленым чаем.
