I have a great admiration for the Japanese work ethic. You can see it even in the way they "pour" themselves into food prep as well as manufacturing/artistic endeavors. That "siphon" process seems to be similar to a percolator where the water rises and drains back down as strong as you want it. All these other toppings look delicious, but in my humble opinion rich creamery butter and real maple syrup are still #1. I've tried other things but still go back to the butter/syrup combo.
the coffee is gimmick but that pan cake making is just pure art.
