OK. What country did these Americans get sentenced to 12 year at? You guys didn't even put it on the CHYRON!
Turks and Caicos Gov. Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam said the mandatory minimum 12-year sentence for possession of firearms or ammunition is in place to protect those on the islands, and judges may use their discretion to impose reduced sentences in “exceptional circumstances.” The guy had ammunition in his bag, no firearm, just ammo which is illegal on the islands.

In 2020, if most of Jorgensen's votes went for Trump instead, he'd have won Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin, taking him to 269. The election would then be decided by House delegations (one vote per state). With more red states than blue, Trump wins.
