Anyone else having a problem with the 3500 rebooting after in putting the PIN on a 1500 PIN pad? My two units reboot repeatedly throughout the day only after my client puts their PIN in. Not only does it take some time to reboot but the customer always argues that it took the payment even though it does not. I reported this to our processor Elavon and they sent out two refurbs that do the exact same thing. I''ve replaced my router and ethernet cables and everything else tech support had me try. I got fed up with it and decided to go with a different processor.
Is there any way we can set up the percentage of the tip at bottom of receipt?
That's a great question! It actually depends on your payment processor, more than the device itself. Some payment processors have the option. Others don't.
I have a problem the machine is stuck on Enter admin name and we cannot get back to the main menu. Any help here?

The Tetra desk 3500 isn't set up to be a pin terminal for a POS, it's not set up to receive command inputs. You would need Ingenico's Lane models to do that.

Great question! You don't need to on the Ingenico device - passwords aren't case-sensitive.

Hello I was running a batch and the paper ran out. How can I print previous batches?
Unfortunately, you can't from the terminal. Once it batches out, it wipes the batch from its memory. You can always reach out to your processor, who can view those reports on their side and have them sent to you.
Actually i god issue actually when i just on the device they need supervisor code but didn't know? Please help me out
A supervisor password would have been created by the business itself. If you want to change it, you'll need to set up a new password. You can use the admin code T8432678 (T= 8 twice) and set a new supervisor password.
How do I change the language? It's currently in Spanish...
How to change language settings on Desk 3500
1) Press the white button on the top right of the pin pad
2) Press Admin Mode (possibly "modo administrador" or similar)
3) Enter the admin password t8432678 (t=press 8 button twice)
4) Scroll down and choose Control Panel (possibly "panel de control" or similar)
5) Scroll and pick Terminal Settings (possibly "Configuración de terminales" or "configuración del dispositivo" or similar)
6) Pick General Settings (possibly "Configuración general" or similar)
7) Select Language (possibly "lenguaje" or "idioma" or "lengua" or similar)
8) Choose your preferred language (could be "english" or "inglés")
9) Press the Red X several times to go back to the idle screen
