The rise of China, Russia and Southeast Asia!
US is struggling and the biggest complaint from citizens is economy. Germany overtake Japan, but both countries in recession, while UK and China are facing same issues, where in China is very common trend is “let it rot” or “lying flat”, which means making minimum output of work, because it's not paying well. And all of those are the best economies in the world, with different political systems and ideologies, but they all have one thing in common, which plagued all modern societies in the world right now

Not at all. Declining birth rates and ageing population in the case of Japan. If anime is the problem then Eastern Europe and Africa should be leading economies in the world.
The purpose of weakening the yen is to make Japan's exports more competitive. Slipping to the fourth largest economy in the world is symbolic. What's real is that a declining workforce puts upwards pressure on wages (especially because Japan has a very low rate of immigration) and this makes its exports less competitive. The real story: Japan can maintain a negative interest for so long, without raising inflation significantly.

This is really bad for Japan to drop to 4,2 trillion and to be so much smaller economy than Germany, while Japan got 40 million people more than Germany. But Japan doesn't have the EU, like Germany does. EU's economy is getting closer to 20 trillion dollars this year. While EU's PPP economy is already 26 trillion dollars. By the end of the 2024 will probably be 28/29 trillion in PPP.
Its because the economy is measured in dollars. It has little to do with real economic output. Japan is still a bigger economy than Germany.
In truth, It is only a temporary phenomenon caused by the yen's depreciation. Japan surpassed 600 trillion yen in gdp last year.
If the exchange rate becomes 1 dollar equal to 100 yen, then the Japanese economy would value 6 trillion dollars.

In PPP india is already 3rd. Nominal GDP is used to calculate international trade. PPP is countries purchasing power.
This is nominal GDP, that people keep saying it's more important than PPP.

GDP is important but it’s not as important as countries HDI. The country may have a high GDP but you need to look at the cost of living , the number of people in population and also the standard of living. Chinas GDP is the second highest in the world but the population is the second largest in the world , the average income is very low and the gap between the rich and poor is enormous. GDP is important but it doesn’t mean that the higher the GDP that everyone in the country benefits from the GDP. When Nigeria 🇳🇬 took over South Africa 🇿🇦 as the highest GDP in Africa I was not worried in the least because the I know the population is so high in Nigeria compared to South Africa 🇿🇦 and a huge gap between the rich and poor, the standard of living is still better in South Africa 🇿🇦 than Nigeria 🇳🇬 despite having a lower GDP
