I don’t blame some of them for putting their parents in nursing homes, they all have their own reasons. But for the children that do complain (all the time) I agree that they should care for them and leave us alone.
I wonder what would happen if I was put in a "home" instead of being taken care of. Parents deserve to be helped by family period since they took care of us for 18 years theh deserve the respect and dignity of children taking care of them 💯

@@superslyfoxx1 ...when I worked in a facility of celebrities for 9 years as a charge nurse while I was challenging my graduate.....Patients at times didn’t/doesn’t realize that poor hygiene can cause serious health issues, including open wounds, decubitus, etc. There is a MUST cleansing for those that needed daily attention to their open wounds medicated and redress, etc. Lastly, but not least, CNA’s should make it a thumb-of-rule to be protected from those who skip cleansing because GERMS can cause health issues with you and/or your family, as well as co-workers. So a mandatory daily cleansing bath, OR shower is required OR their family will be called in to assist us with their beloved’s hygiene, PRN. Hope this help.🕯

I really appreciate your home health care videos. they are funny yet they are still informative and on point. it has helped me a lot I remember having male clients who would try to come on to me in the same ways. and out of fear of losing my job I would quickly change that client. I was also quick to change clients when they would lie or threatened to lie on me because I would not give in to their demands. I love the way you handle the clients even though I know a lot of it is humor. but you do give me a different viewpoint on how to handle certain situations. thank you
Yep there’s always that family member that barely visits, and wants to act like we’re neglecting their mom or dad. And they feel guilty so they automatically blame us, or they think just because their parent moved into a facility means they’re somehow cured of their dementia.
