I fixed the door handles myself and its just a five minute job. Sometimes when the door handles loose the spring action, its usually because of a broken spring. I tried in my local market to fix it but I was told to replace the complete unit. It was INSANE!... All it needs is a spring replacement!!! I began looking for the door handle spring and realized it was a marketing scam. The door handles springs were just not available for sale. I took it up on myself to come up with a simple idea to make this spring and almost anyone with some basic tools can make it. Watch the video and suggest better ideas if you come across. It would help the community and help us save a few bucks.

Thanks Brother, It worked for me too using that old laundry basket, very good DIY, never thought we could be able to prepare a spring! Dealers/Retailers are intentionally not keeping those springs to sell new items

look for an old laundry basket. It will have a spring steel, you could twist it make it yourself

This is what i looking for. I dont fix my door yet but i get the idea. Hopefully this method working in my case. The door stuck..i can remove the handle but not the knob.

I think besides laundry bag spring, can also try umberella frame wire, metal hair band, car window sun shade wire or safety pin if they are big enough. Stainless steel welding rods are not good and deform.

Hello for the inner clip to remove it i don't have tool as well as geometry box divider ,any other tool that can be used to REMOVE??
you could use a hair clip or safety pins if you want to...all you have to do it give it slight pull outwards
better buy bent nose circlip plier, it is cheap, less than 100 Rs

its usually sold in tools /hardware shops. In chennai you will find a hardware store everywhere.... not everyone will have it...Check with automobiles spares shop
