    2008 Ford Mondeo Mk4 1.8 diesel
    P2263 turbocharger boost system performance the car would go into limp mode no power hard to start making nasty noises
    We did a very quick and easy test to see what the problem was and we found it very quickly rather than trying to strip it which would take a long time and to clean it I said let's get the carbon cleaner out and see what happens hope you enjoy the video thanks for watching
    This is for them keyboard wank... sorry keyboard Warriors before you comment make sure you've done your research here is proof that the engine carbon cleaning machine works
    Carbo-Clean CCX-012
    The CCX-012 is brought to you by Carbo-Clean and is a completely self-contained Carbon Cleaning unit; engineered and built in the UK and designed for mobile or static garaged-based engine Carbon Cleaning.
    What is Carbon-Cleaning?
    When burning fuel in a petrol, diesel or LPG engine, small amounts of carbon residue are produced and some of these carbon particles cling to the internal components and airways within the engine, over time these carbon particles build-up and form a crusty residue over the working parts within your engine. Valves, pistons, turbo-vanes and EGR valves are all at risk of being effected by excessive carbon deposits.
    This carbon build-up reduces the efficiency and performance of an engine, shortens the lifecycle of engine parts and decreases fuel economy and increases vehicle emissions.
    With modern style of driving, congested roads, and stop-start lifestyles the issue of carbon build-up within an engine, is more prevalent than ever.
    Our Carbon Cleaning machines are fast, efficient, and completely safe. The machine automatically manages the hydrogen pulse into the engine. The effects of injecting hydrogen makes it possible to raise the combustion temperature to trigger a pyrolysis, a chemical reaction that vaporises, and eliminates carbon deposits. We simply insert a tube from our engine-decarbonising machine into the air intake duct of an engine and leave the process to run. The average vehicle takes 30-45 minutes to be cleaned. Prices vary from £75-£100 for a standard Carbon clean, commercial, plant and boats are normally charged at a higher rate
    What are the benefits of a Carbo-Clean?
    · Works on all engines types, diesel , petrol, or LPG
    · Removes up to 75% of the sooty, scaly carbon residue
    · Restores fuel consumption, engine power and performance
    · extends the lifecycle of expensive engine parts by helping them work more efficiently
    · Soot and scale are removed from parts like the turbo vanes, EGR valve, DPF’s, catalytic convertors, injectors, valves, and airways etc.
    · Dynamic parameters are increased when accelerating
    · Engine noise is reduced
    · Emissions are drastically reduced
    · Improved fuel economy
    · Engine’s lifecycle is extended
    · Carbon-Cleaning is not about giving an engine more power, it’s about given the engine back the power it has lost over time due to carbon build-up and assisting it to run and breath more easily
    · Suitable for cars, vans, HGV and boats

    I used couple of cans of Normfest DC980 intake cleaner on mine 1.8 sprayed into turbo but also directly to manifold. It eats through carbon nicely.

    Hi there, I've got a my2010 Ford 2.0 Tdci which is display similar problems. I noticed a distinct lack of power, almost like an old pre-turbo diesel. It still gets up to speed and is running fine, ticking over nice and no extreme turbo noise. The engine light has now come on and the error code it P2263.....

    Hi, great video. Thanks for sharing. I have a Ford S Max which about a month ago when the turbo was about to kick in shuddered and the engine malfunction light came on. AA came out and got the same diagnosis, turbo pressure system. He cleaned the pressure sensor and reset the code and it has been good for 3 months. Then yesterday doing exactly the same thing, changing into 6th it instantly came on again. This morning the light has gone. I was told these diesels need a good run every now and then to clean the particulate filter. Is that what this issue could be?
    Cheers for the great videos

      Hi mate unfortunately she's going to have to be diagnosed properly as for me to try and guess what's wrong with it was going to be impossible and I don't want to lead you down the wrong path it could just be a case of needed cleaning DPF regeneration thing along them lines or it could be something else

    Before 15 year's i had hydrogen generator in vehicle, connected all the time. Engine was white inside, happy and clean, even consumption of diesel is much better. Every engine should have it all the time, otherwise diesel are struggling with agr, dpf, turbo and so on. Now some of you are using so called carbon cleaner, which is actually hydrogen generator.

      Hi mate like I explained in the video I wasn't 100% happy with the movement of the actuator but like I also said it was getting better and better every time the car is driven the car did not go back into limp mode and has not come back to me since the car is fixed 100% of course these issues can be fixed you can't just throw away a car because it loses power there is always a problem or a failure somewhere that has to be diagnosed and fixed they can be 101 reasons why this happens but I have never known anyone that's thrown a car just because it's lost power I'm not sure where you are reading this but I would not trust it at all

      @bodgitandleggitgarage  Před 6 lety +2

      Daniel phipps hi mate it all depends on the situation a P2263 can also be down to an EGR valve which can also cause lots of black smoke if you've got no fault codes it could be a hundred and one things too difficult to say you would need the car tested

    • @JamesAllen300
      @JamesAllen300 Před 6 lety +1

      Disconnect the EGR valve and try that too!! If black smoke reduces or goes away, then EGR has a fault!!

    • @malcolmyoung7866
      @malcolmyoung7866 Před 6 lety

      Daniel, black smoke usually is because/indicates over fuelling....it's a sign of unburnt diesel that is passing through the system. Also, a couple of things. Depending on what car and what generation you may need to recode your injectors if newer....on an older system the ECU will have to learn that the new injector has been installed. This may take a little time to 'sort itself' but not for ever. If you've only driven the car once or twice for a very short time it may still have to relearn the parameters for all the injectors again. Had this on my Freelander TD4.
