- Ranjani and Gayatri are two sisters who perform as a Carnatic vocal and violin duo. They have also appeared as soloists, accompanists, composers, and educators of Indian Classical Music. Their work includes studio recordings; television, radio, and festival appearances; live concerts; and lecture demonstrations. Ranjani and Gayatri started their musical journey as violinists before they reached their teens, performing in sabhas (music organizations) around India and abroad. Besides playing the violin duet, they have also performed with musicians such as Smt.D.K.Pattammal, Sri M Balamurali Krishna, T.Vishwanathan.

No offense, they sing great but one is pretty and speaks in nice tambram accent, other one doesn't and has different dialect. Are they really sisters? Correction-Illayaraja did learn music later from L subramanian's father so get yours facts right. Singing carnatic doesn't make one knowledgeable I guess.
Atleast they did something great..who are you man? Afterall a random viewer..before correcting them and commenting about their looks and their accents, think how miserable you're for not being able to see the positivity in this video and the humbleness of them..
