Face cam is good. Badass nails. You’re doing lots of good things to be fair, your content is already really nicely polished, not over edited, interesting, you speak well, happily subbed!
Nice review but sticking with Cstimer. Love the fact that it's simple, has many cube, variety of scrambles and most of all being browser based, can be used across all of my devices.
agreed, the fact that cstimer is cross-platform is another great point that i forgot to mention
Dont forget that its free. Thats my main reason that im not changing
Very nice review, i like the new format, with the facecam :p
However, I'm sticking with cstimer, as I don't really an advantage on this, as I can't use it on my phone and don'tvreally see the pooint of paying $5 for something I can't use everywhere I need it too :/
However, this project is very good, and maybe with future porting and all, it can surpass cstimer
Hmm, CSTIMER, free. CubeDesk, $4.99. I know which is better in my book :D!
Love your style.
thanks!
Homie
First thing I check in a new timer is a scramble picture. I think every timer should have it by default. And, of course, I’ve been using csTimer for about a year now and I have all my stats there, so I’m not migrating anywhere unless I can bring all my baggage with me.
oh yeah a scramble picture would be nice, i’m guessing the dev is planning on adding that at some point
you actually can import your cstimer sessions into cubedesk, but of course you lose some metadata such as dates
@@CrimsonsCubes I think kash is working on it cause I remember him saying something that draw scramble is hard or smth
"am i ugly" LMAO
Love the nails
Only thing might be an ‘over the shoulder’ view of cubing so we’re seeing more of what you see when solving?
that’s definitely a good idea, i’ll experiment with some other angles sometime
i loved cubedesk when i started using it
cstimer just feels better
but im sticking to cubedesk for now
> Windows is good for people who want to tinker
Linux users: ...
DAMNIT i was gonna put text on the screen mentioning linux, trust me i know abt u guys
hi, can you help me, I don't know how to import data from cs timer to kuebiko...
here, this should help czcams.com/video/70ethZp4jjY/video.html
@@CrimsonsCubes yeah it doesn't work for me :( it says that "this file type is not supported yet"... But thanks for the help :)
maybe it's because ther is more than 8000 solves in the session i tried to export...
hm, does the file youre uploading end in .txt or .csv?? if it ends in .csv you need to click the export button in the top left in cstimer and click “export to file”, that should give you the .txt file you need
@@CrimsonsCubes yeah it's in .txt ... plus the website seems cool so I'm kinda sad lol
8:27 Yes it is a web-powereed app basicly, it isnt a program, it is basicly just a shortcut that opens the web page like the CS Timer App, or any other desktop app of websites.
I might have used wrong terms I dont know too much about web programming stuff.
@@cubersadventure519 developer here: you're right that there are apps that are just shortcuts, but that is not the case with cube desk. this application was built on a technology called electron, which allows developers to write desktop apps with a web stack. Electron also provides other native functions that web browsers do not (like native notifications, local file reading/writing, etc). It's kind of an in-between of a native app, and a web app :)
@@jonahisadev Wow thats interesting, I didnt know about this and thank you so much correcting me!
h
Hehe
for me it is more interesting when we could see your face at least a few times in the video :)
i think the reason it is html is because it is built in electron.
What happened to your Beard? Lol I will never stop talking about it... :D
don’t worry it’ll come back
13:15 Lets hope we have no Linux users around here.
i use linux.
It’s now 7.99
