    Face cam is good. Badass nails. You’re doing lots of good things to be fair, your content is already really nicely polished, not over edited, interesting, you speak well, happily subbed!

    Nice review but sticking with Cstimer. Love the fact that it's simple, has many cube, variety of scrambles and most of all being browser based, can be used across all of my devices.

      agreed, the fact that cstimer is cross-platform is another great point that i forgot to mention

    Very nice review, i like the new format, with the facecam :p
    However, I'm sticking with cstimer, as I don't really an advantage on this, as I can't use it on my phone and don'tvreally see the pooint of paying $5 for something I can't use everywhere I need it too :/
    However, this project is very good, and maybe with future porting and all, it can surpass cstimer

    First thing I check in a new timer is a scramble picture. I think every timer should have it by default. And, of course, I’ve been using csTimer for about a year now and I have all my stats there, so I’m not migrating anywhere unless I can bring all my baggage with me.

    • @CrimsonsCubes
      @CrimsonsCubes  Před 3 lety +2

      oh yeah a scramble picture would be nice, i’m guessing the dev is planning on adding that at some point
      you actually can import your cstimer sessions into cubedesk, but of course you lose some metadata such as dates

      hm, does the file youre uploading end in .txt or .csv?? if it ends in .csv you need to click the export button in the top left in cstimer and click “export to file”, that should give you the .txt file you need

    8:27 Yes it is a web-powereed app basicly, it isnt a program, it is basicly just a shortcut that opens the web page like the CS Timer App, or any other desktop app of websites.

      @jonahisadev Před 3 lety +1

      @@cubersadventure519 developer here: you're right that there are apps that are just shortcuts, but that is not the case with cube desk. this application was built on a technology called electron, which allows developers to write desktop apps with a web stack. Electron also provides other native functions that web browsers do not (like native notifications, local file reading/writing, etc). It's kind of an in-between of a native app, and a web app :)
