I say no because cubedesk uses random move instead of random state like cstimer AND the WCA and therefore can sometimes give stupidly easy scrams so basically it can make you faster than you might be on cstimer and especially with events like 2x2 it sometimes gives 3 move scrams but cstimer does have the issue with deleting solves
i cant believe i didn't know this. i felt like cubedesk scrambles were easier but i thought it was placebo but i guess this seals it. onto the list of things to fix, please use random state cubedesk devs.

@@imcasey also a few of my friends say that cstimer deletes solves although never happened to me before
@@Anthony_Jiang that usually has something to do with browser cookies since cstimer times are stored locally

The lighting is 🔥🔥, and i disagree with cubedesk, cause cstimer is way better, cause cs timer has wca scrambles and cubedesk has random scrambles (not wca), and when i got 16.78 ao5 which was my pb, it showed 17.86 which wasnt my pb, i got to know this cause i got 3 16s in a row and i was shocked to know the a05 was 17,so i calculated it. And it showed 16.78. So this is just my opinion and i think cs timer is way better. Anyways good lighting and music.

I mained the CubeDesk timer and I loved it, but the thing is I got a 14,xx Avg which shud be my PB Avg, But in the screen it showed 15.10 which was my prev PB and then It didnt work for me
Yeah cube desk is full of bugs, but I'm glad they're trying to fix it. I def do agree I think there's a problem with the pro version of cubedesk (and I fully agree it is needed so money could be made to pay for sustaining the timer and keeping it afloat/work put into building the timer)
And the easy scrams lol
The stats are quite frequently wrong, i had an ao5 that said it was sub 7 even tho it had no counting sub 7's, just a 6 single.
Also there are not enough statistics that can be showed at the same time.
I don't think there are hotkeys either although if there is then i am not aware of it, which is a bad thing for the app because i have done extensive searching for it.
Also I dislike typing in times in cubedesk because it needs to have a decimal point whereas cstimer does not.
I do like the idea of focus mode though but the watermark is very annoying.
Anyways these are just my thoughts and it depends on what you need from it.
i cant confirm or deny anything else but in the settings there is a option to disable the decimal point requirement, which is enabled by default

I still think i am gonna stop using it just because it sometimes gets calculating averages wrong somehow.

Another thing I found really annoying when I tried cubedesk is the fact that there is no way to view your best ao5/ao12/ect for an individual session, you can only see your current stats and your overall best stats for that puzzle.
You can view them all now.
I like cubedesk and cstimer but I can't use them because I have an icarry
I'm autistic and for some reason my brain has a very hard time memorising things so I don't know notation.
Also having bad memorisation skills is the reason I use my current method, B+F2l because I can't memorize oll or pll so im practically forced to stick with gan smart cubes

When you’re doing 1v1 do you need to have a smart cube or how does that work? Can you just pretend to be really good and it’s just like the honour system?

it's an honor system but you can report people for cheating and they can get banned (if found to be cheating)

@@ISuckAtCubing i already made my own video on the rs3m 2020 so it would be weird to state it again but basically yeah its very cheap and performs better than a lot of cubes even above it's price range
