That wheel certainly wasn't designed for production. I'm no expert but I imagine there are lots of ways those wheels could have been made so they weren't so expensive. Fortunately for the Allies, the Germans overengineered a lot of their stuff. Thanks for sharing the video. I look forward to seeing the wheel fixed.
Hello you are correct and I agree with you. It seems the Axis industry was not concerned yet with making things quickly. Some car factories nowadays make 1000 cars a day! My quick math figures there were less than 20 Kettenkrads made a day! Granted the NSU factory was making other vehicles, bikes etc
