The sad thing is that, thanks to a niche of the industry that uses fearmongering to market their products, this is an understandable response. "Clean" brands will invent new reasons to avoid certain types of ingredient, push wellness trends like mad and often different brands will say different things are toxic. No wonder people are confused.
Aren’t they any literally any ingredients that are bad in what they call « bad stuff »? Because I see you coming with essential oil. I am talking about what this « bad stuff » Nothing is bad for our skin?

I watched a CZcams today where the person said they only want clean makeup and skin care, no longer wears sunscreen because it's toxic, and buy a Nira because science duh! All in one video! I'm like, do you watch this back or what? Super frustrating. But also why I'm really grateful for your daily videos.

Rather for skincare, what you put on the skin should come from a place of extensive research, either the company should be capable of conducting it or the ingredients should have had years of research & tests & trials. The whole paraben free cos parabens were made out to be these bad things when actually they are necessary & not bad was so annoying. Every product that said it was paraben free, companies who felt pressured to jump on the bandwagon & youtubers who pushed the "good paraben free" products I stayed away from...Rather you need chemicals that have been tested & stabilised to be able to safely use them...
Can you do a video on products that are EWG (Environmental Working Group) Certified that actually work - in all areas; skin cleansing, skin care (masks, serums, toners, moisturizers, anti-aging, sun protection, etc.), body wash/moisturizer, hair care. I’m trying to track ingredients that you tell us actually work against what could still be a body toxin or environmentally harmful. I’m overwhelmed. You’re wonderful - as are your videos - thank you so much!
