    A lot of people have commented that their not stealthy due to the noise around Amberley but thats not what Stealthy is in regards to them its their ability to give a very negligible if at all radar profile etc.

    Was sitting outside at our bar late afternoon the other day and my brother in law and I saw them fly directly overhead. You cannot mistake them for any other aircraft; quite amazing. We live in the Noosa Hinterland and they were heading in a northerly direction.

    I saw the two of them flying over head the other day . And yes they are loud, that's why i looked to see what was flying. One turned left and you got a look at most of the top side of the aircraft. It was good to see them as i didn't know we had them.👍

    They look like a falcon in a stoop. They fly over Brisbane just after sundown, occasionally, must be on exercises somewhere up North. Come out of the ENE , bright lights blazing, flying over the commercial flight paths. If you look carefully yo can make out their distinctive wings. FYI.

  • @gregnoble8799
    @gregnoble8799 Před 19 dny +1

    Utterly spellbinding. The wide track stance makes them look super controlled on take off. Beyond the stealth and precision avionics aspect of the aircraft ( which is like #1 in the world) the range and lift capabilities are astounding. (40,000 lb, at 40,000 ft at 600mph for 6000 miles!)Flight testing of the B21 Raider, the next generation flying wing stealth bomber by Northrop Grumman is underway now. It will be superior in all aspects. Northrop was a pioneer in this field, successfully developing the concept of large flying wing bombers as far back as 1946. (YB35 and 49) Though, ultimately these too must give acknowledgement to the (captured) design technicalities of the Horton brothers.

    Outstanding captures guys, really great to see these scary looking things up close. The thing that gets me is, even though this is allegedly the most sophisticated piece of kit USAF operates, they still allow it to be photographed and display certain operational characteristics & capabilities. You can only imagine what they are running behind the scenes away from prying eyes...

    I have this thought in the back of my mind that Australia is about to be offered either the B2 or B21 as part of the AUKUS circus due to the possibility that we will never get the promised Virginia Class boats and have to wait until around 2050 for the British designed boats. Collins class will probably be long gone by then.
