I am so proud my Mum Alice Gourley,nee Slevin came from Fintona and she was so proud of Fintona and all its people. She always said it was a place and always will be a place where everyone pulled. together and there for each other. Mum is in heaven looking down on her beloved Fintona and still so proud of her town. She always said you can take the girl from Fintona, but never Fintona from the girl. God bless you Fintona and all its people.

I couldn't help but notice the name McCarroll at 1:07 Fintona is where my grandfather and siblings came from in the early 20th century around 1917 I think. couple of my family have been there. I wish i knew someone there who could write and tell me how is life there. i am in the SF area of the US
