    went to dealership and told the supplies that I would take unused cvt fluid so i had to wait a few weeks but they gave me some left over cvt fluid for the price of regular cvt fluid so a half gallon cost me only about 30
    dollars.

  • @pf465
    @pf465 Před 6 lety +2

    I feel this install video is a little incomplete. You did not advise the installer on what to do with the fluid lines that were removed from the stock cooler to install the remote cooler lines. Were they left dangling about? Would they release any fluid if left attached to the trans.?

    • @mishimoto
      @mishimoto  Před 6 lety

      Hey PF, you will be removing one of the trans lines coming from the OE cooler entirely and replacing it with one of the hoses going to our core. The other line from the Mishi cooler should be routed back to the open port on the transmission. If you run into any issues, feel free to reach out to Support@Mishimoto.com!

    After seeing the low power gains with a COBB AccessPort on the CVT WRX, I have decided to keep my WRX stock. I'll trade it towards an STi once they update the ancient 2.5ltr sitting under its hood. Knowing it will stay stock has made me enjoy the car less. My wife actually drives it more than i do lately.
