What is the hose size to drain?
Not much room! So jam packed!
Would this fit on an eclipse 2g gst ?
This is considered a universal product.
Does it matter the order of the hoses? Long on left or right of the sandwich plate?
It should only fit one way. but the hoses do not matter if they are swapped.
What are some real world temp differences with this?

Nope! The cooler is not directional.
Awesome cooler, my 1st test drive was a success. This thing cools fast. I should have done this upgrade years ago. The biggest killer on transmissions is heat. Everyone objective should be to drop your tranny temps to at or below 185 if towing. I tow roughly 10K using my travel trailer. As a weekend warrior taking out my 2012 Cummins, I push hard up hills, going to Colorado Springs from El Paso in 4 days. Dont have time to waste. This cooler will get tested running up Raton Pass. I foresee no issues.
What’s the point of installing this thermostat?
This racing thermostat opens at lower temperatures to ensure your engine stays cool regardless of how hard it's being driven.

UPDATE: We have test fit this performance intercooler kit and found it to fit the MK8 generation as well!

This is not something we have tested. Sorry!
Wouldn’t you need to fill the cooler radiator with oil so when you start the engine there’s not pressure issues?
Not necessary as the oil pump will begin pressurizing the system while the motor is cranking over.

If I do both sides at same time, can I just put the left side back on the right side and not have to rotate the struts 180, I don't have my vice set up at the moment

@n54nate62 I'm only raising 2 inches, you don't have to use a vise, you just put the spacer on the strut and literally just turn the whole assembly 180 and it goes in, super easy

Doing it with the bumper off is much easier

@@mishimoto I already heard the %22 greater flow rate already and that doesn't help me at all. Every aftermarket intercooler manufacturer claims the same thing of "greater air flow/more power".I'm looking for temperature differences of OEM vs Mishimoto.

We suggest customers to bleed the system if they experience any issues after installation.
What is the brass bleed screw/valve for if it wasn't used to bleed air out when filling and burping the system?
There are multiple ways to bleed the system. We offer the bleeder to make things easier for our customers.
Will it work on a 2017 f250 with a 6.2 v8 and a 6r100 transmission?
We have only tested this on the 6.7 Powerstroke models. Sorry!

We do not suggest removing the OEM pusher fan.

Assuming you are looking to move the cooler to an alternate location here. We'd suggest measuring the length of lines needed to ensure they'll reach.
Why won’t this work on a 2021 Subaru crosstrek with the 2.5L?
