- In This Episode, Sayu Rinpoche bids farewell to Buenos Aires - for now, and travels to one of Argentina's oldest cities (and also the nation's second largest): Córdoba. After a failed attempt to buy a local football/soccer match ticket at Club Atlético Belgrano's home stadium (Estadio Julio César Villagra in Barrio Alberdi), Sayu decided to fully indulge in the city's relaxing vibes, grand historic churches, and a seemingly more authentic Argentinian way of life that were very different from Sayu's experience in Buenos Aires....Come on, what gets better than drinking a glass of Mendoza wine, eating a plate of delicious meal, and watching a music fountain show at Paseo del Buen Pastor?

You are welcome anytime ❤
I'm glad that you enjoyed my hometown and my beautiful Alberdi. I spent my first 25 years there and lived 3 blocks away from "la cancha de Belgrano". Some notes to imrpove your info. Córdoba is not near the Andes, but near Sierras (Grandes y chicas). The "plaza" you spent the afternoon at is named "Plaza de la Intendencia (City Hall Square) and had been modify in the 90's. Buen Pastor was also a prison for women. I just love my city. ❤
Thanks for all the information! 🙏 I love your city too!

It's wonderful to watch to someone talking English visit my province, I saw a lot of people visiting BS AS but not Córdoba. I hope you liked this province!
My visit to Cordoba was absolutely a delight! I can't wait to return back to Argentina soon in the future to discover and learn more about the country's many hidden gems!! 🙏
The "Paseo del Buen Pastor" was a women's prison where many political prisoners were murd3red during the last military dictatorship. Many of the guards claim to have seen and heard screams during the night rounds.
What a pity I didn't meet you earlier! I live just a 5 blocks from "la Cancha de Belgrano". Namaste Guz🙏
😮wow that's amazing Guz! Really glad you are able to find this video & channel here. Have a great day and namaste 🙏

Cordoba is an amazing place! Come back soon! You got to know Carlos Paz and Billa General Belgrano, some cities near Córdoba
Really appreciate your recommendations and thanks for watching! 🙏
Cool! Feel free to visit the city again whenever you please, there's more to see outside the more known places around the downtown - alberdi - nueva córdoba.
PS: Your singing is on point lmao
Haha thank you so much! 🙏 This trip was more like me scratching the surface. Now I know there is way more Cordoba and the surrounding area offers, and I can't wait to discover more next time!
esperemos alguna vez suceda!
MUCHAS GRACIAS POR VISITARNOS, Y RECOMENDARNOS!
the tickets are sold the day of the match, just 2 or 3 hours before the match.
Thank you so much for the information!!! Hope I knew about this during my visit! 😅 Maybe next time!
🎉
6:26 It is not dry. It is a drainage channel for rainy days. You will notice the change in this video.

Cordooba city is great but as a local i recomend you to visit other places like Carlos Paz, Villa General Belgrano and more!
The Silver mountain of Potosi is not a myth.
Guru RInpoche...you have the same last name as the Guru himself!
Just Paris and London can be compared to Buenos Aires, and it's no coincidence, like Paris, Buenos Aires was demolished shortly after Paris was demolished (to be rebuilt as we know it today), and rebuilt in the image of Paris with its architectural styles of that moment: beaux arts/academicism-art nouveau/deco, and with the layout of large boulevards/avenues/diagonals and proliferation of parks, like Paris.
Buenos Aires is nicknamed "Paris of America"
and in Argentina the only other city similar to Buenos Aires is Rosario, the second city in the country by population (municipality + suburbs) and GDP.
Here is a sample of Rosario, the other "European" city in Argentina:

Haha you are one step ahead of me! Rosario is coming up so stay tuned!
@@SayuRinpoche ah, OK, Rosario's architecture is awesome, as "European"' as Buenos AIres, I'll be waiting ur next vid!
MEJOR. PROVINCIA. D. ARGENTINA. PARA. MI. ES. MENDOZA. SALUDOS😂
The problem is having to deal with the cordobeses on a daily basis... Awful people to work with, to party, to do anything, really.
Just saying...

La Cañada is not a river, it's an overflow drain system to buffer flash floods of Cordoba's mountain rivers, which flash flood very quickly as distinctive from flat land rivers .
WHERE did you get THAT from!?
@@tevaz5001 what she said it´s correct, but you can also considered it as a river
@@yamicout2 the drain system was constructed to contain the stream called La Cañada whose headwater is located at La Lagunilla.
Buenos Aires complete names is City of the Holy Trinity and Port of Saint Mary of the Good Airs. The name or the port prevailed but that's the reason that Buenos Aires citizens are called "porteños". Nuestra Señora del Buen Aire is and advocation of the Virgin. es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuestra_Se%C3%B1ora_del_Buen_Aire, also know as Nuestra Señora de los Buenos Aires or even Nuestra Señora del Bonaire.
