My family of 7 is planning to go to Japan from Dec 21 to Dec 30, 2023. We are deciding on whether its better to celebrate Christmas in Tokyo Disneyland or Osaka Universal Studios. How long was the travel time from Tokyo to Osaka, we are planning to get the JR Pass. Also where would you recommend for us to stay (Tokyo, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Yokohama or others within a budget of $3500 for the week). Also do we still need to have Yen money or is using a credit card sufficient? If not, how much Yen money would you recommend for a person for 7 days in Japan.

The travel time on the Shinkansen between Tokyo and Osaka is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, making it a comfortable choice for transportation. You can save a lot of money if you use it wisely and travel extensively using JR lines. The JR Pass is available for 7, 14, and 21 days, providing unlimited rides.
