  • Rare footage filmed 2004 PART 5 OF 6
In the 1970's the Bay City Rollers sold over 120 Million records, and topped the charts in every record selling country in the world, generating and industry worth over £5 BILLION in today's money. Yet by 1979 the band were penniless, victims of one of the greatest Rock n' Roll Rip off of all time.
25 years later they try to get to the bottom of it.
This video is demonetised as it has a Copy-write Claim. We do not earn money from these CZcams Videos, but we hope the money earned goes to the song writers and The Bay City Rollers.... as it should. KEEP ON ROLLIN'!

I feel so sorry for Les, good on him getting that Tam to squirm...By confronting Tam Paton, he's doing now as a mature adult what he couldn't do in the 70s as a naive and trusting eighteen-year old.Les needs legal representation to try and claw back some of what's owed him.

When Tam Paton had the Meeting with Les McKeown, the man was guilty as Sin. Lou Pearlman did that with O-Town when they asked how much Money they made. They had a Number one Single, and a Platinum Album (Selling One Million) back in the day but when they asked directly he hemmed and hawwed and started whining about "Why are you asking me these questions?" In reality they didn't make anything. Lou spent alot of time, and money investing in The Group, allowing them to live in a House like Simon Cowell did with Five and Girlthing, then there was The Vocal Training, A Choreographer, Wardrobe Artist, etc, alot of Money went out and he didn't get a markup on his Investment so they made "Nothing". At one point Ashley Parker Angel had a Negative Balance of -25.00 US. Tam is very narcisstic.

In 1969 the rollingSTONES' were in exactly the same position.
They hired a law firm headed by prince rupert lowenstein. It took him 3 years to read thru the truckload of legal papers and contracts but eventually the stones got there money.
Les is out of his depth here he doesnt know what to ask and the manager is playing him like a cat with a mouse.
Les is a singer not a lawyer.
He needed to approach a top law firm and promise them 50% of the money the rollers were entitled to.
Perhaps his desendents can do this.
