    Wow, that is some awesome gear! There sure are a lot of good options out there today. I have the Swedish stainless mess kit, and trangia with wind break. Also have a vintage 1930s or 40s Boy Scout tinned steel mess kit. I take my son out all the time and we use this stuff. We have fully outfitted our US military canteens, with cup, stove and lid. It sure is nice to be in the outdoors!!!

    Honestly
    Your videos are awesome. It’s like they pick up were Ray Mears left off when he stopped doing as many videos and how to’s.
    To me,
    I can’t give a higher compliment than that!

      Brother I don't eben know hoe6 to respond to that compliment . I really appreciate it . There are so many out there though that do a much better job . These are mostly done for family and friends . My knowledge is nowhere near that of Mr. Mears . I trained under him a bit and he's a wealth of knowledge . 🙏🙏🙏

    I like the idea of using that cornmeal mix in a skillet. As soon as I heard the sizzle of that batter in that melted Amish made butter my appetite perked up. Your dish washing skills cracked me up.

    Looks like it had a good time, I recommend a firebox stove, mine is stainless steel but they have titanium too, they are well worth it and are well designed.

    • @Oldsparkey
      @Oldsparkey Před 2 lety

      You can't beat a Firebox Nano Gen 2 Titanium for this type of cooking. The stove folds up into a really thin and light package. I use mine with the X Stand and Titanium canteen cup ( The Maxi Canteen cup ). The whole system fits in the canteen cup including a Evernew titanium alcohol burner.

If you're asking which one do I use with the boundless voyage canteen cup and stove set then I use a Nalgene canteen . I hope this helps. I read in the Amazon that Boundless Voyage Canteen bottle set will not fit with the Boundless Voyage Wood Stove kit. Kinda strange product decision for me.
    From your video, those are Heavy Cover canteen bottle set fit inside the Boundless Voyage wood stove kit, right?
    Will a titanium Keith Canteen Bottle fit with that Boundless Voyage wood stove?
    If the Boundless Voyage canteen bottle dimension is exactly the same with the Heavy Cover canteen bottle, it'll solves the question, but I haven't try it since it is a pretty expensive investment to made.
