There is a electrical tape we used to use that was a rubber tape so less slick than regular electrical tape

New subscriber. I second the whistle when outdoors, especially when around a creek. My buddy and I split up while fishing a creek in Wyoming. We met at the designated time and place; however, there is no way we could have shouted over the noise of that creek had one of us taken a wrong turn.

A little skim of sho goo on the tape would work too

I read in the Amazon that Boundless Voyage Canteen bottle set will not fit with the Boundless Voyage Wood Stove kit. Kinda strange product decision for me. From your video, those are Heavy Cover canteen bottle set fit inside the Boundless Voyage wood stove kit, right? Will a titanium Keith Canteen Bottle fit with that Boundless Voyage wood stove? If the Boundless Voyage canteen bottle dimension is exactly the same with the Heavy Cover canteen bottle, it'll solves the question, but I haven't try it since it is a pretty expensive investment to made.

good build if there were more underbrush but it looks naked. I'm afraid a mature buck will spot this out a 100 yards out and turn 180. Best to leave it mixed with hardwoods like you started out and a little green in these conditions, Less is more a lot of times. just control your movement and you'll be fine. great video though none the less.

I'm wet forming a sheath right now. I watched this video yesterday. After I set it out to dry, I wondered, what would happen if you used starch like they use for pressing or ironing shirts. Maybe spraying starch inside the sheath after soaking the sheath and then form it might make it form better. Just a thought. What do you think about it?

Sure hold a lot of gear

Years and years for a bic lighter isn’t good. Believe it or not but it is usually the sparking mechanism that fails. The tiny ferro rod in a bic will corrode… crumble… and the lighter won’t function. Even something as benign as a fishing hook in a kit needs to be regularly serviced and checked. Corrosion eats everything. Oils on fingers or even just the humidity and air get to work straight away on the items inside kits stored for long durations.

I reccomend oiling the blade as well before putting the cling wrap, depending on weather can take longer for the leather to dry and result in some unwanted patina
