May the Force be with YOU.... Always! - Zábava
My gut says Vader didn’t just force choke him but force butchered him, ripping limbs off and eventually in half. Could be the most brutal Vader kill captured in history
I’m with you. Comic horror in itself
Vader treated Watto like a bug on a windshield lmao
and what about how larrs and aunt baru were dealt with it seems he left them alone and if he KNEW when they found the droids in episode 4 you'd think hed at least have the troopers deal with them extra severely over placing some sick twisted blame on them as well for his mother being kidnapped from them after his mother being purchased from watto never specifically mentioned but i feel it possible as well
He cant be touched through the force, "jedi triks dont work on me, only money!"
“Jedi mind tricks” specifically. He never stated the force. Mind tricks only work on the weak minded and willed.
"Ani? Little Ani?"
Vader... *begins force choke*
"YOU ARE ANI! IT IS YOU!"
“A Sith Lord? Whadayaknow!”
It's not Watto, it's Waddo. He's Watto's brother that was filling in for him on the wrong day.
"Some how Watto returned."
Actually it's his other brother, the one with the different length wings so he flys unevenly. His name is Wabblo.
Actually it was his cousin, Wammo. Filling in for Wabblo who was filling in for Watto, Mistaken for Waddo.
No no no, it’s his nephew, weeglo, who was sent to help with his uncles junk shop at the worst possible time
You're all nuts. It was clearly his Father's Brother's Nephew's Cousin's Former Roommate. A drunk named "Blotto".
Wish Vader just made him pod race for his life lmao
That would have been awesome!!
I'd have begged vader to do that 😂
Just for fun, Vader tied Watto's corpse to his rebuilt childhood podracer, took it for a spin while dragging Watto until not much was left but ragged flesh and shreds of a vest, and exclaimed "NOW THIS IS POD RACING!"
I heard "Now this is pod racing!!" in James Earl Jones's voice!!
A real 2 BBY Achilles.
canon
Nah, he would have done it with Watto alive.
Jesus Christ dude 🤣😂
He shoulda changed his name to Waldo,. Then he would have been so much harder to find
This joke wouldn’t work in some other countries… cause in some other countries they call him Wally, not Waldo.
@@tehshingen yep I’m an Aussie. It’s Wally here too. But thought I’d better use Waldo cause lots of our American friends here wouldn’t get it otherwise. And the rest of us would know what I meant
As you see, this comment didn’t age well.
@@tehshingen "Charlie" here (in French).

Darth Vader killed him alright.
He didn't tear him to pieces, but he certainly left a message. One meaning he is not to be trifled with.
Darth Vader had no qualms over killing who crossed him, but from what I've seen, he showed respect for the Storm Troopers whom were on the front lines all the time. The commanders however who kept a safe distance, he made examples of them when they failed him.
Why did i just read this with Vaders voice in my head. Lol
@@tylergrim7669 Nostalgia? Because the voice work of James Earl Jones as the voice of Darth Vader is legendary?
Make sense since he also used to fight in the Frontline with clone troopers.
@@samuraijackson241 That is exactly why. Part of him was still Anakin Skywalker, and he had more respect for the soldiers who fought on the front lines. If the Storm Troopers knew something private and celebrated him, he'd feel that respect reciprocated. He gives the air of a ruthless taskmaster to the commanding officers, because most commanding officers were entitled rich brats who paid their way to their ranks, and didn't earn their positions legitimately. Few commanding officers could earn Darth Vader's respect, but they were fewer than he could count on a single hand.
His respect however was to the soldiers. And yes, he was a veteran of the Clone Wars. A fact you passively brought up.
We agree, Darth Vader's respect for the front line soldiers is without question. It is the officers who didn't fight on the front that earned his wrath.
@@RAPTOR948 makes sense, its the entitled elites he also had issues with as in the jedi order thats who he believed made the jedi corrupt and its like all those years of pent up rage slip onto the commanders
Mind tricks might not work on Toydarians, but force choke sure does.
and lightsabers certainly do lol
The sith version did
"he was tired of serving a master that was not worthy."
I don't know, he seemed pretty worthy to me.
0:00-8:02!😂🕛🔜👍💳
That sums up the sith in general, arrogance. They always see others as less than eventuality one way or another. I still think they are more correct than jedi tho.
@@HolylinkxI mostly agree with the Jedi but one thing I don't agree with is the oppression of emotions and not having relationships even if it's your family
I guess the serving the master faded by the time ROTJ came about. so much hesitation...
@@Tritonofclansakai2Oddly enough, the group in Star Wars I agree with the most don't typically use the force... The Mandos pretty much got more right then either Jedi or Sith.
Before watching, I just wanted to say thank you for pointing out Vader in the thumbnail. I had no idea who that dark suited man was.
Vader? Isn't that the guy with asthma in "Night in the Museum"?
Wait.. Vader was in the thumbnail?
Where is vader in the thumbnail?
Vader leaving: “Yipeee!”
Vader: “You should try spinning. That’s a good trick.” *Force twists Watto’s head*
You win the thread.

Watto kinda had that coming after how he treated Anakin back then...If you read the Legends comics before the phantom menace series that lead up to when Anakin meets Qui Gon.
What did watto do
@@jafawyou mean watto he do?
@@Paul-bm1sobro😭
Wat did he dew
Did not read that comic, but in the movie we didn't see him cruel to Anakin. Also in EP2 Anakin didn't really treated Watto as some enemy either. There was no torture, or choking, or killing. He asked what he came for, and moved on.
Haha I’m sorry but why did he use a naked, seductively posed drawing of Watto in the thumbnail 😭
i didn't even notice that until i saw this comment 😭
Bro is watto worth it..
Watto would not have been happy to see him. I read somewhere that on Tatoine Vader was known as the guy who freed the slaves. That would have put the brakes on his buisness.
Not really, Watto was never big into slave owning and actually the two had a pretty good relationship when Anakin was a kid.
I want an actual short story where they exchange words and make it poetic and heartfelt and then violent.
I think if I were Darth Vader and I had any freedom from the control of the Emperor, the first thing I would do is upgrade my suit.
Honestly with all of the magical sci fi alien tech that exists in the Star Wars universe, you'd think he'd also just pull a Rudy from Invincible and find a way to implant his soul/mind into a healthier non disfigured clone of himself.
@@sissysovereign1294 Yes! That would be the ultimate option.
Vader is totally against that. He hates tech. He sees droids as inferior and sees cyborgs and technomancers as abominations. Sidious has pointed out the irony in this, Vader hates himself, hates that he is stuck in a body he hates, like a prison of self hate, but hate makes him stronger. His suit is designed to make him unable to balance or stop moving easily, because just those minor annoyances constantly forever just make him hate himself even more. Vader is aware of all this, and that he can't (and doesn't want to) survive outside of it, and makes him hate himself even more.
So to give Vader a new suit by any means other than force (no pun intended .. or is it) would change his character. There are many other characters in the SW Universe who have or could go the "ultimate tech body" route though.
@@Chrishadtosay Well the main reason he would want an upgraded suit is not so much to inhibit his "natural" force ability, but to resist the effects of Force Lightning. If he is already confined to living in a suit to sustain his life, why not make it Emperor proof.
@@sissysovereign1294somehow, anakin returned
Watto: “Your jedi mind trick won’t work on me Anik…agh…aahk…ghasp!”
Vader force-choking Watto: “This will…”
I thought it was confirmed Vader tortured Watto with the force; peeling away his resistance to him before killing him.
People theorize that it was Watto, but technically there is no way to know for sure. It only mentions that it was a being that was the same species as Watto. Maybe it was Watto, maybe it wasn't.
Vader doesn't save lives he repurposes your life.. 😂
I hope Vader told him he was Anakin
Pretty sure, in this comic line, Watto was killed LONG before this. Like, while the first Death Star was being made. Besides, Watto's blue and tan and his clothes are not just warm colors but also dingy and dirty from the sand. This one has grey skin and cool-colored clean clothing. I TRULY believe that this is just some random Toydarian. (Besides, there are more than ONE Toydarian alive in the Star Wars universe. You don't look at EVERY Ewok and yell "HEY, IT'S WICKET", or point at EVERY Wookie and say "It's Chewy!" do you? Come on, guys!)
But whenever you see a Hutt, you usually assume it's Jabba.
@@jamesgravil9162 Not me, no. It could be Jabba's dad from the legends books. Or if you want something more canon, could be his cousin from the Clone Wars. Let's not forget the two newest hutts introduced in Boba Fett. Its a big galaxy out there.
i find your lack of faith disturbing
to be fair, wookie is very chewy.
I wonder what would have happened if vader had succeeded in bringing luke with him to face palpatine together. Would he have turned back to the light since nothing was holding him in? Or would he stay in the dark with his son?
Unlikely. Either, Vader would have hidden Luke away to train in secret until they could fight the Emperor on equal footing, or the Emperor would have summoned them early and Vader would have been forced to make a similar choice as he did on Endor. However, Luke would not have been powerful enough to incapacitate Vader or wise enough to throw down his weapon, so it's more likely that Sidious would have taken Luke from Vader to use as leverage until Luke could be turned.
He hated sand 🤣
Force chokes Watto to death, " IT's WORKING!!!!! ".
A civil war between
The empire
The rebel republic & the Vader alliance would be insane
Chuck Chuck Watto?
"Aniii is that you?"
(Force choke) YIPPEEEE
Ive always hated being called that..😂
Vader, as he butchers Watto and uses The Force to keep him alive for as long as possible: "YIPPEEEE!"
Vader hand fed sand to Watto until he exploded
Vader held on to his Obi-Wan grudge so id say that going after Watto sounds about right.
Then Watto must have been on another planet, or on a starship, because didn't it say that Vader would never set foot on Tatooine because of his past and his memories? That was one of the reasons why Luke was hidden there with Owen and Beru. On the one hand, there is his family and on the other hand, Vader would never find him there or even suspect him.
or am i wrong?
Yeah I remember in "The Life & Legend of Obi-Wan Kenobi" they did mention something, when Yoda & Obi-Wan discussed hiding the two, and I am pretty sure it went like "He feared Anakin's return, and thus would never go to Tattooine again" And yeah they hid him practically in plain sight, because of that fact. I personally really don't see Vader ever visiting Tattooine upon being masked & suited up as Vader, but apparently some events have caused him to even in Legends, but iirc they were always "Get job done, gtfo immediately" if he even went down onto the planet personally. Feel like most times he would, unless absolutely necessary just send his people instead.
@@schwabmobwatches3405 its because they were still thinking of Vader as just an evil Anakin, so they thought this evil Anakin wouldnt want to got to tattooine. While Vader instead tried his best to complelty seperate himself from Anakin, and since it wasnt "Vader" but "Anakin" who had history there, he didnt see an issue with coming back if required, but also no reason to stay there any longer than for whatever he needed to do.
@@katieee4915 I see, thank you. That's interesting. I never thought it'd be as simple as that, but I like it.
He did eventually go back and found the bodies of his step family. He had an internal monolog about why Obi-Wan was smart for hiding his son on Tatooine.
This video really, REALLY wants you to know that Vader needed an army.
Hi, sorry to interrupt your entertainment evening, but I have information of crucial importance for you. Vader needs an army.
Was it part of Watto's responsibility who also sold Anakin's mother to the Tuskin Raiders? That could be one of the main reasons why he wanted his vengeance.
“Our favorite junk dealer Watto” a slave owner/trader will never be my favorite anything
"we wuz kahns samurays ann sheeett"
Watching this with my Darth Vader cardboard cutout.
considering how Watto looked like in Attack of the Clones, that toydarian doesn't really seem old or frail enough considering it should be what, 20 years later?
Where was Watto in Revenge of the Sith?
Uhhh where was he in ROTS? I have no memory of him in there
@@allwalledup under your bed
When I was a kid and even still now to this day I always wanted Luke to join his father in the dark side I thought that would have been so awesome
Right yoda and obiwan were dead he needed a mentor lol
Right right, cuz nothing says a good story like everyone being evil
Luke going evil would still leave a lot of good guys, but narratively it would be jarring. Would force a new hero in the story to be written, and it was already an uphill fight with Luke as a good guy. Making good win in that setting would be contrived, but the stronger side just crushing everyone isn't fun either.
Dale Gribble unwittingly stumbled upon the one weapon and tactic which CRIPPLES Darth Vader . . . POCKET SAND !!!!
When Watto finds out his slave is the most feared man in the galaxy: he didn't. Nice one.
Watto "Ani"
Vader "Vader"
Watto "what happened...gggrrrrgggg aaaahhhhhh aaaaaaahhhh AAAAHHHH stouuuuuup your crusssssshhh.... My haaeeaad."
Vader "You DARE SELL MY MOTHER TO SLAVERS I SHALL RIP YOU LIMB FROM LIMB AN CORTIRIZE EVERY WOUND YOU SHALL DIE SLOW"
transmission ends...
" Cauterize "
He was broken of this notion of rebelling the moment he stepped foot on exegol.
2:44. Now, if that isn't the start of a fanfiction...
Imagine if after all those years, they never took the chip that kills slaves that rebel, and they just disabled it. It would be really funny that Watto just had a button that kills the most dangerous man in the galaxy
That would be a nice plot twist.
"On accident?" It was either by accident or on purpose, it can't be both!
" mind tricks don't work on me, only money."
Reminder:
All of this could have been averted had the jedi either just freed or bought his mother from her slaver owner.
Are you sure?
When Younglings join the Jedi Order, they are taken from their families and other emotional bonds are broken, or at least weakened in favor of their attachments to the Jedi.
Part of. Palpatine 's strategy to groom him to convert to the Dark Side was to encourage Anakin's attachment to Padme. Palpatine then created a situation where Anakin had to choose between doing what was best for her and defending the Jedi Order. 😦
Besides, there is a reason that slavery is a stable Institution in tribal, semi nomadic societies like Tattoine.
Let me start a new message.
Besides, then what would she do?
Once she were freed, how would she get food? Or any kind of work?
You don't think she could have earned a living wage working as a housekeeper, do you?
We don't think about it today, but in the past, being a slave often meant having a place in a larger community that one needed to survive. ⛓️🏰
Say what you will about Watto but at least he was a better master than Palpatine
It used to be cannon that Vader never returned to tattoine, lucas even said this himself.... then disney made that obi on trash show lol
Tbh, the parts where it actually WAS about Vader and Obi-Wan were some of the best SW. The rest is just trash.
sidious be like.
good goooood my robot
Force choke?yeah he wishes I reckon maybe just maybe inside poor watto was pulp then splatter blood money shot all over Vaders armour
"Ani? Whaddya know, a Sith!"
Watto: Ani?
Vader: Quit dead naming me.
“A Sith Apprentice?!

Why is nobody talking about the thumbnail where Watto looks to be nude and undressing, while looking suprissed Anakin caught him doing something off
I might actually have to see a doctor and get my blood pressure checked after trying and failing to watch a full minute of this
This one clip was a billion times more entertaining than the last 3 "movies" that came out.
It's probably just a random Toydarian.
As far as slave owners go, was Watto even so bad? I don’t think he abused Anakin or his mother. They had their own little home and appeared to be healthy and well fed. In fact, they had enough food and space to accommodate guests. I never saw them doing hard labour. And Anakin had enough free time to pursue pod racing and droid building as hobbies. Other than not having the freedom to leave, it doesn’t seem like their lives were much worse than a lot of people in modern society living paycheck to paycheck.
Second. Awesome video! Love your channel
Didn't The Empire end slavery while The Republic and Jedi Council didn't make any moves against Hutts and other slave owners.
*"Couldn't care less". Not "Could care less".
Which chorus Duel of Fates music is that at the beginning of the video? It's so good 👍 😩
When you realize that keeping Anakin as a slave in Tattoine would have been the best for the entire galaxy. Lesson: Don't bet in podracing.
R.I.P. Watto!
Rest in pieces lol
I thought Watto knew some mind tricks also.
Ffs, they never learn, how many times you gonna call a grown man ANI before he snaps?
I feel like ive seen this before
It's definitely Watto
I believe it's Watto as far as I know in the Star Wars Universe they don't use doubles as they do on earth.. if I'm wrong well I'm sorry.
Pretty sure you've done this video before...
Damn Vader is just killing dudes left and right
Even if he didn't care about his past he probably didn't want anyone around who had known him as Ani. So even if he was being purely pragmatic about it, he'd still kill Watto.
Maybe the pic shows him being force choked right at that very moment.
If Watto had been proud of Anakin and it had in some way horrified Vader, if Watto had proven to be some sort of final challenge only the real Anakin could have passed, THAT would have been good writing. Instead he is just an old man... which he was, but he should have represented something more to the sand hater.
guys waddo is blue
I never understood how vader thought killing Palpatine would make HIM the emperor. Palpatines empire wasn't a SITH empire in that the majority of the high command didn't know Palpatine was a sith and they certainly didn't accept regicide as the natural path of succession. If Vader had killed Palpatine and announced he ruled the galaxy, the officer corps would have killed him to avenge Palpatine.
It's not Watto, Look at the coat, it's a button up coat, Watto wears a leather vest coat, that held by straps, also the teeth look flattened, Watto has fangs.
The only thing I don’t hate about modern Star Wars is this comic.
No one gives a poo doo if Watto died
im gonna die a virgin...(darth vader scream) "NOOOOOOO"
Did you seriously just waste my time with this? he looks nothing like watto, not color, pattern, or clothes. The scenery is clearly not a tatooine junk yard.
right? im blocking this clown channel for this
Bring me the gif from family guy where Peter said Oh my God who the hell cares
you would think he would visit uncle Owen and find Luke there too
1:45 Noodle makes a cameo
Watto was already displayed at an old age when Anikan went on the search for his mother. His species doesn't seem to live long, if you compare Wattos aging from Episode 1 to Episode 2, so he might have been dead at 19 BBY, which is the earliest date the in the comic described story could have happen. Yeah I know that's too much logic for most of the fans and maybe I am mistaken by my memory.
Question if Vader hated tatooien why didn’t he blow it up with the Death Star when he had the chance you know tie up loose ends killing Waddo, Luke, and all the sand people just saying
I'm not so sure Vader ever wanted Luke dead
Hes not even even dressed like watto or the same coloring. Hes not the only member of his species.
How did WADDO know Vader was ani he doesn't have his old Anakin Skywalker voice anymore
anybody else cook their padawans deep fried anakin style? no? just me?... And kenobi?
It's not Watto Vader protected him
Look at his teeth. Look at the shape of his snout. Totally different if admittedly similar species. If supposed to be watto drawn with no eye to detail.
I wonder if he offered to roll the chance cube for his life
Watto would have been among the first people Vader would have killed. He and the jedi were responsible that his mother was still a slave after Star Wars Ep.1, and Vader killed people for far less reasons.

We need a damn Vader series or movie
I saw such a comic book once.
Vader was the hero of the story. It happened after the Death Star had been destroyed and the Emperor was weighing the benefits of building a few more, or having his military power base be grounded in a more numerous and moderately powerful fleet of Star Destroyers.
Vader linked the conspiracy back to this debate when he was charged with finding out who in the Empire's hierarchy had leaked the plans for the Death Star to the Rebel Alliance.
It was a pretty good story. ☺️
