SO GOOD!! WOW, I've been treated with 2 doses of a PPI for 2 years (without relief) and come to find out my GERDs is actually LOW acid. Started the HCL (with Peptin - will stop that part). My GERDs are pretty much gone, and no more nighttime coughing and the post-nasal drip is almost gone (I don't have a Gallbladder, and to take supplements as you've recommended).
Now, my, what the heck is it that my gastro doctors are clueless & almost belligerent with my 'self-diagnosis''...

Outstanding video, TC. I have two associated questions: 1.) Why do you prefer to stay away from Betaine supplements that contain pepsin? 2.) I have found a Betaine supplement that contains vegetable peptase instead of pepsin. Does your preference regarding the avoidance of pepsin apply to vegetable peptase as well? Thank you in advance for your response to these two questions, TC.

Thanks Brian. Pepsin is okay. But most people need to work up to a full dose of 5 HCL per meal to get real benefits, and a dose of pepsin that high can often cause discomfort. That's why we use this HCL: naturalreference.com/products/betaine-hcl

I take creon for enzymes and I can’t take hcl because creon need it to work better through my small intestines rather in my stomach that will make the creon open up in the stomach if I took hcl and lowered my astomech acid . Despite the fact I need hcl because I have sibo and auto immune disease. Is there way around all this mess! In 5th grade I had some kind of reaction in music class. All of a sudden my eyes and nose started leaking huge amounts of clear muscus then it went away. A few years after that I noticed when I mowed the grass I would get stuffed up and sneezed alot. Over the years this has persisted. But in the las 10 years it's gotten chronic. I've lived outdoors my entire life. Multiple presidents physical fitness awards.
And have been an athlete my entire life. I have read untold white papers on clinical testing on a huge array of topics. The closest I have gotten was a possible d3 deficiency but that turned out as far as I can tell to be a non issue. Beyond extreme sinus swelling i have not been able to nail down causation.
