- UPDATE: With Design space recent changes/updates, you can no longer save as pdf to create shadow. You would have to use a different source. I use Inkscape and works well.

Lavella Heaggans you can resize it, because I have done different sizes. Seller policy is for recreating/sharing or selling the file.

After you purchase image you have to download it to your computer then unzip folder then upload to design space

Great video. One question, couldn’t you just Duplicate the image Change one to cut then you would get the Silhouette? I’m new to cricut
Dee Love Thank you , duplicating the image will not create the shadow/silhouette to be used as a boarder it will just be same style and you will be unable to adjust it with a white boarder, I will upload a video showing you the method of duplicating.
I uploaded a video to create the shadow using an outside program, design space does not allow dragging and if image is duplicated it doesn’t align correctly.

I purchased the image however I can't save image once upload on cricut so that it doesn't cut each strand of hair. Can you assist or have any suggestions?
Monique & Mariah Spraggins after Cricut update its almost impossible to get a good shadow, I was doing a screen shot then uploading now I no longer do this technique it’s not aligning , I have a Mac now and I was able to drag the image but now with Cricut update it’s not possible. What I do is use Inkscape to create the shadows

I use these 3 printers for all my cutouts, they all work well for me.

What you mean it did the cut? You welcome
It cut out the baby instead of the black line . Before the cut I thought it was only going to cut out the square and not the baby itself.

I just tried to do this in Windows and it wouldn’t let me save it as a png, only as a web something or nother . Has design space changed this feature?
pjsales09 yes it has changed it no longer can be done this way.
You would have to use an outside program then upload to design space.

When I send to printer I don't have a advanced options tab. How do I get that tab? Thanks
The advance option is no longer available once you click print.
It shows up after these steps
In order to see the advance settings for your printer click where it says :
1. use system dialog
2. Click print ( window will open in the back)
3. You can change quality,paper etc
4. To save click where it says pdf ( this might be different depending on your printer/computer
@@YanselsPartyCrafts the only thing I see for pdf is " Microsoft print to pdf"
@@debralott4132 i no longer use windows .... I use a MAC & for me it automatically comes up once I click system dialogue
You would have to check your system settings or google how to get advance options in windows. I did it and it came up on how to find it.

Watch video from 1:06, when your on the print setup screen and right click on image and then save as
Make sure the file says png right where you rename file
update: windows version follow steps above
mac version drag image onto desktop and it will be saved as png

Did you select “save file type” and then selected “png image” ?
I'm having the same trouble
Cricut changed everything after the update,you can no longer save images unless you use the zip tool or if on a Mac capture section. I started using inkscape for the white boarder
