- In a wintry realm where festive cheer reigns supreme, an unexpected conflict unfolds. Join in the now annual Christmas battle report as the leagues of Votann have to face a surprise uprising in their very own factories!
Grimnyr has been hard at work this year making toys for all the good boys and girls in the Imperium, but there are just so many that they needed help from some little elves and who better then the Eldar? Well Grimnyr was very surprised this year when the elves threw down their tools for shurikens! The worst part is more and more eldar just keep showing up no matter how many they take down, it almost feels endless and horror above all else there is an Avatar of Khaine and The Yncarne! Grimnyr just needs to hold his factories long enough for Uthar to come and bail him out.
On this Monday Knight Matchup we use GWs Battle for Macragge rules, a special scenario you can find on Warhammer Community near the bottom, it was a great mission set to use for this mission! The attacker gets nearly double the points of the defender over the course of the game while defender just needs to hold 1 objective out of 3 by the end of turn 5 to win with a very large deployment zone. Make sure to check the rule set out!

Warp spiders 24 inch movement is so dumb and they can fire and fade
This may have been better if the player with the 2k army always goes first since they will, in the end, have used like half the number of points. Also the eldar he was playing against is an extremely rough list lol. That’s nuts.
The mission says the attacker goes first. And remember attacker only has 1000 points on the table first turn. 2000 points going first vs 2000 is a huge advantage turn 1
@@Allenslickyguitar I mean thats the point. The 2000 point army is also at a HUGE advantage that it is playing against a 4000 point army. So going first would offset that

Hey there, Absolutely! for starters take a blob of 10 EINHYR HEARTHGUARD. They deep strike have a ton of fire power and the volikinite used on a judged unit get sustained hit 2 with a stratagem. they are also -1 to wound when the S of a weapon is over their toughness making them pretty durable. The Sagitaur are also great cheap unit fast and great for screening and transporting heart kin warriors. we'll be streaming a game with Votann this Thursday night.
