    Thank you very much for the video. I have now a problem with it so when I switch it on the power safety braker jump off it have a graund link. Anyway I checked the brash motor is good .I can't find the way to open the frame and get to see were the wires going

    My bissell stopped working 2...I was immediately upset N taking back. I only used it 2x N just brought it N may. I fell in love with it...not the price, but the ease of it. I checked to see whether sumthin was caught on da brush. Just a couple of pieces of hair. Still took the brush apart. Same 2 lights flashing....But THANKS for this video now I can rest assure knowing since I dnt hav a warranty. It's a manufacturing error. Its Thanksgiving so I will be calling 2moro morning.

      Tks, if still under warranty contact customer service, another person just replied they are sending him a new unit ...

      @@ricopane5385 Oh I definitely did but apparently my unit had been sitting on the shelf for a while before I bought it and it was no longer under warranty according to the serial number. I literally only had it for 4 mths and used it only 3-4 times and had no receipt to prove date of purchase. I will have my husband try to do what you show on the video. Thanks again!

    I have the same problem thank you for making this video. I use bissell crosswave pet pro less than a month and suddenly stop working.

      No Problem ..... i'm going to add ad fuse holder on outer casing so that i can just replace fuse easily ... although the amperage and style of fuse is a little hard to find...... but maybe if you and other people with same problem start anouncing on facebook and any other social media platform ....maybe BISSEL will fix or replace our devices free of charge ....... Tks for your feedback at least i know im not alone !!!!!! GODSPEED

      @@ricopane5385 will do as you as also I already summited a email to the manufacture bissell and they are aware of the issue. Thank again wish I know how to replace that part I'm just going sending it to a repair shop that manufacture suggested.

    Now Bissell Crosswave has "wired in" fuse, so you would have to change the whole computer board rather than pop out the fuse. Repair would only be MORE expensive! I unsoldered the fuse and put in outside fuse. Thanks for your help, it's a Huge job, Ohio- USA

    Can you please tell me where the second (long) black tube goes? I think it just is for air but I’m not sure. I’m talking about the two equal width black flexible tubes that come immediately out of the holder for the fresh water/soap connection. I know one goes down into the small pump in the back that then leads down into the head to spray the water in the head but the second one is what I can’t figure out what to do with. Its just for air right? Does it need to go in a certain place?
    And yeah the fuse on the circuit board that’s soldered in and hard to get to I thought was an odd choice.

    The motor/fan on mine is making a bad smell and noise. So far I have not been able to take it apart like you did. Please post a video on how to get it apart.

    Same with mine, called customer service, they are honoring the guarantee and sending me a new unit.

      Lucky You, mine was STILL under warranty and because i opened it up ... because i COULDN'T FIND MY BILL. They wouldn't , EVEN though another user told me that CUSTOMER service told them it was a KNOWN ISSUE... !!!

      @@ricopane5385 I just gave them a photo of the model and serial numbers from the sticker behind the water tank via email. It seemed simple and straightforward Sorry for your trouble.

    They certainly don’t want to make these very easy to fix. They have replaced mine after a tech support call mine now I want to dig into the old one and see if I can put a video up. I have the cross wave max but I’m sure there are similarities. My symptom is it says it’s full charged on the charger but when I go to use power on the battery light blinks red and beeps 3 times. Defective battery?

      Don't think its battery .... your unit is a wireless (battery) might be other problem or sensors dirty ? did u do a search for error code and exact model number ?

    I did contact bissell about this and the person on other end said someone would be calling me in a few days well its been much more than that and i havent been contacted.....hmmmm

      Do you know how to fix it if the roll brush doesn't turn at all ? The head doesn't move

      @@1ma1ya1 nothing turns on ??? so you probably have to do what i did in this video here .... the fuse is blown and nead to tear it all apart to do so :(

    Same happened to me. Not worth paying that kind of money and I haven't used this machine a lot. It works great when working. I had everything set to clean floor plugged it in machine started running for about 5 seconds then stopped. Will not start. I suspect it is a fuse by the way it just stopped.

    Would you be willing to share a picture of the circuit board with a location for the fuse? Bissel is sending us a new one but I’d like to fix the old one instead of throwing it in the trash

    My guess is the motor stalled and that caused the fuse to blow. Try to used a screw in fuse holder. Better approach would have been to shut the motor down or limit it's current for such scenarios (with a red led somehwere) but that would have cost money and more design time.

      well it was pretty clean was not full of hair or such. shouldn't have stooped after a few uses !!!!

    I think you said you used it a few times and it went bad. Question to ask is why did it the fuse brake? I believe is because of the vac (top) motor. This vac tends to have lots of humidity near the motor, and if you are not constantly using it locks with rust making the board suck more power in to turn the motor and thus making the 3a fuse brake. This is all from experience. I could be wrong but stay away from this vac.

      I think it would be more prone for the brush motor to block and cause fuse to blow .... but that said why not put a reset fuse on outside unit ??

    Thank you for the video and doing the heavy lifting for everyone that lands here with this problem. They should replace yours and eveybody elses for putting a simple fuse where its impossible to access for the majority of people. Im going to tear mine down now.

      They’re not that bad…just always make a video when you disassemble something so you can see what wires go where and work backwards. It’s pretty simple and can all be done with a single Philips head screwdriver.

    This is misleading. Ask yourself why the fuse blew! Unless the design/rating is wrong there is another problem elsewhere. Fuses are for protection and in normal use should not blow.
