unlocked bootloader poco m2pro (gram) , followed your method using Pitch Black Recovery 3 but after formatting, it still reboots and shows encrypted phone. DFE and Magisk 20.4 flashed sucessfully but in privacy settings it still shows encrypted. Please help

nothing will be overwritten, format data is complete wipe of device ..you will have to set it up again ..

After flashing dfe file which u have provided was make my poco to go to fast boot.
After formating also no use till its going to fast boot it solved only after I had flash the miui ROM.

I have a doubt, I have bundled it when trying to install root on my device and I ended up in bootloop what I did was install a (official) rom which when entering the internal files, the folders were with strange names appear, so you recommend removing the credentials (decrypt), to be able to install root? Munchy ir face unlock worked in miui 10 after updating the miui 11 just gone , used many custom roms and reverted back to stock , as u ,told I flashed miui 10 to get ir face unlock, but it didn't work

if you dont flash magisk then twrp will be overwritten by stock recovery when you boot into MIUI for first time

first you need to read on whether you need to decrypt or not
and once you decide, follow the video if you decide to ..rom re-flash is not needed

@@munchy_cool That's what I did but the phone won't reboot, it would just load and be stack on bootloader and then after a while it opens TWRP so I flashed the factory firework and did everything again and it worked

Munchy I updated my POCO, pixel exp 10 today (Nov->Dec). My phone got encrypted even though I flashed DE when I intalled Nov pixel exp. Every time I have to do factory reset and loose all my data! Why is this happening?

But tha rom after reboot when the % runs i.e. 00.01 like tha it just skips to 99.99 after 01.00 and when my phone finally comes to home screen it is what it was previously.😭
And 8 have tried switch to stable it starts downloading 11.0.5.0 but installation has same issue of skipping to 99.99 😔
