Nissan with an UNEXPECTED Engine Combo.. and it's FAST! (AWD Billet 4G63)

- Santa Pod Raceway was full of surprises, but one car that stuck out was this heavily modified Nissan Pulsar. Upon close inspection, we were pleased to find a billet 4G63 (and obviously a big ass turbo) that fit so nicely into the engine compartment, it could have been stock. You pair that with the dogbox trans, AWD driveline, parachute, and plexiglass and suddenly you find yourself thinking you've got a European "Red Demon" on your hands. This was sweet!

Normally Jack has a hard time just staying on the track but its just really cool seeing featured on another channel than mine ❤
It's not easy driving AWD 1500+ HP cars the torque steer and darty tendencies is sketchy I remember my AWD talon at only 800 HP was bad enough everytime you gas it it pulls and on gear change it goes back just a hard car to drive and his looks like it would be harder being that light
@@freedomfox8183 4wd are the hardest cars to drive he has a super short powerband and a cluth and with that power lvl he can easyly spin of the line 😀

I've always wanted one of those Pulsar GTI-Rs since I first saw them in Gran Turismo 1! Sick little homologation cars with a factory AWD SR20DET
And the only factory SR20DET with individual throttle bodies. I've always wanted one too but it was Tokyo Xtreme Racer for me not Gran Turismo LOL.
It's surprisingly cheaper compared to most of the JDM hero cars. I got my Pulsar 8 months ago and it when it runs it's a blast! @@jdmmike7225
I miss owning mine sold it and regretted it after. Engine bay is a bitch to work on though, not much room to operate

Very known here in Sweden aswell, he attends most events as far back as i can remember pretty much! Always been quick, specially on airfields!
Maybe he should put some wings on it for those airfield tracks.. lol

My country ( New Zealand ) was very fortunate to be able to import the full 70s,80s,90s etc JDM market. GTiR Pulsars used to be everywhere and fairly affordable here but not anymore.
Now he's in the same boat as Devin(Red Demon), pushing for the limits breaks every weak link. Gnarly little Pulsar, I've always loved the Baby Godzillas.
That little silver Ford Fiesta is a beast.
It just gets faster.

I miss my GTi-R! It’s been TWENTY ONE years since I sold it and have regretted it ever since. Now they’re almost impossible to find in decent shape.

Anderson is one awesome ass dude. Fuel Tech amazing and Anderson is very knowledgeable and always keeps working to improve his product to get the most out of your car and its engine. Honestly all of these Stand alone EM businesses definitely carving a path into automotive history. They make cars way more reliable and can easily be able to spot what the issue might be. EPA can suck it 🎉😂😂😂

I'm in Australia and I own a Nissan pulsar it'd super amazing to see one done to that level and the time it dose. That guy was super chill. Better keep eyes out for that once he get that problem sorted out

So glad you finally went to Santa Pod, I got a ton of recommended videos of the VW stuff because I watch 1320 and was amazed to see a real drag strip in Europe! Also to see what in the world the Euro market had that could be tuned, heck I didn't realize a VW could be tuned and given a megaphone exhaust!

I’ve been watching The Goodwood Revival and it’s really close racing, especially the saloon cars and inter-war stuff. There’s only three types of racing that rule the roost: drag racing, historic and land speed racing. For the simple reason that they’re short,intense and you get more interesting cars than anywhere else.

I used to live in North Wales next to the a55 and used to see Lou Rob screaming down the motorway back in the day made me want a Gti-R so bad, once i had one and built one back in the early 2000's it was the biggest headache car i ever owned but i still miss owning that car.

My old roommate had a Pulsar GTI-R he bought from the south Florida import company before they went under.
It had some bolt ons, was pretty quick but man it's wild driving on the right side.
Making left hand turns across lanes of traffic is unsettling as the cars are coming straight at the you as the driver.

Anyway, I was think the weirdness in the video of the very very close race could maybe be explained by rolling shutter; in a single frame there are different moments in time top-to-bottom. Keep up the great work 1320!

Loosen the crank trigger ring, take an indicator and indicate in the ring for concentricity. Then It will maintain a constant gap and strong signal. I bet it's out of centricity a couple thousandths and the gap is changing when the low spot rolls around.

Thats a really cool car. We had plenty of nissan sunny GTI-R and mazda 323 GTR back in the 90s rolling the streets. Sadly, you never see them nowdays because most of them ended up at the scrap yard or on jackstands in someones garage collecting dust...
