Don't get me wrong I love Anton and Karen but they've both been the leads before. It's time to start giving some of the newer pros the spotlight for once. AJ and Dianne are both amazing and really deserved it.
Isabel Lote AJ has had lots of leads this year and in previous seasons, why does he deserve it more than someone like Gorka or Neil?
Fantastic story line guys. Dianne and A.Dav look so young and Dianne looks like she wants to find herself and identity. She has gone through identifying with other people’s emotions and problems. history lessons, finding out how situations can cause anxiety, worries for many people and essentially we as women are all the same in the same boat.
Anthony playing Sam Simon frank and Karen in those dungarees cleansing the windows looked lovely together. Brought back so many memories of when I was younger

Frustrates me so much that Dianne finally got to lead and still ended up at the back!! Give the woman some camera time for goodness sakes!!
I do agree but it's almost like an earned thing. The ones that have been there longest get the most screen time. She's still a relative newbie. Would love to see more of her as the lead though, she's amazing.
@@rach97134 I do understand that, it doesn't really seem very fair to me though. The pros are all pros because they can all dance so surely it should be spread equally between them? Or even the 'newbies' should get the most attention until they've been on a bit longer as they haven't had as much exposure as the others? All of them are incredible dancers and it just frustrates me that a lot of them don't get to showcase their talents because of people we've seen dance hundreds of times
Beth Grace life isn’t fair though. This whole idea that every pro has to have a ‘turn’ and things should be ‘equal’ is silly. If you’re in the workplace, are they going to give an important role to someone who’s brand new or someone who’s been there longer and has proven they’re capable of the job?
@@Lucy-cb8nr I mean it wasn't really that deep to be honest. Plus, she's been on the show 2 years now, I think she might have proved that she can do it, and she's had a huge amount of support since she joined - the public want to see professionals like Dianne, AJ and Oti lead and are fed up of people like Janette and Karen leading, you just have to read the comments on most of the dances to see that. If anything the producers should be paying attention to who really matters - the viewers
Beth Grace lets be honest she’s only had a lot of attention this year and that’s solely down to Joe Sugg... i doubt the producers have anything to do with who’s featured in the group dances, it’s up to whoever choreographs the dance and there is a reason why experienced and prestigious choreographers choose to feature Janette and Karen over some of the others...

Lol people, the actual lead of this dance are Karen and Anton. Not Dianna and AJ. Similar to how Mamma Mia was a lot more about Donna rather then about Sophie.

For all those moaning about the lack of camera time for Dianne, they usually have the most popular dancers at the front. Last year Dianne went out pretty early, so they didn’t get to fully see her popularity. After being with Joe this year, if she is back next year, I think she’ll have a lot more leads in dances

Definitely not hating on Anton and Karen, just saying that Dianne and AJ were dancing fantastically in the back and only got camera time at the start and end.
Anton and Karen were amazing, don't get me wrong, but I'm just saying that they should have got more camera time.
I think it is because the story of Mamma Mia mainly focuses on Donna and meeting the dads again and not the story of Sophie and Sky, that is like a sub-plot

Anton is and always has been a terrific dancer, also singer and comedian. If you have any doubt about this go and see his touring show. He should be where Tess is, at least he will have a better dress sence

this was such a good year
what people (presumably non-dancers) aren't understanding is that when someone has a lead role, they don't always have to be front and centre! the fact that dianne and aj/karen and anton had different costumes, roles and separate choreography is what makes a lead role, not simply being in the front. and for anyone complaining about karen, well she hasn't had a lead role this season so she deserves it too + donna and sophie both have an important role in the movie.
and this is coming from a joe fan, i'm happy to see dianne getting a lead role but stop spamming the comments complaining about her being at the back! the choreographers know what they're doing, if the dance had dianne/aj in the front for the whole dance, the other pros would have simply been BACKUP dancers, but this is a GROUP DANCE so the other pros also have a role in it, and it can't only show the lead roles!
Exactly!! Also I think there’s a difference between being the lead and being featured, like Amy definitely was the lead of the Remembrance Day dance as the dance revolved around her, but I would say Dianne, AJ, Karen, and Anton just had featured roles as there was so much going on in this routine
