Missouri Wind Generator making Power in the Philippines

  • On the Texas Farm I had bought a Missouri Wind and Solar dual PMG 2000 watt wind generator. Since the power in the USA is way more stable than here in the Philippine Islands I decided I would get best use of it here in the Philippines. So last trip to Texas I dismantled it and pack it up in a balikbayan box and sent it here to our beach side home. The conditions seemed better for it here to make power anyways and could be very crucial during extend storms when solar is lacking.
Today I finally got it going after a few updates on it like dual wind charge controllers that also manage some mppt solar on the same unit. Meanwhile other work continues around the build. More baby chicks are hatched and Citi Hardware comes through on the tile adhesive. Great day and all is going well.
We are a Fil Am couple sharing our lives between living in Texas USA and Iloilo City on Panay Island Philippines. We share dealing with two different cultures, building our solid concrete cast in place home beach side and exploring/ seeking new things. We hope you enjoy and join to be part of a bigger family here on this channel.
Thank you for being apart of our channel and lives.

We are only using grid as a backup right now. We was offgrid before then with construction and the guys being so careless with my solar panels and other equipment I had to make the choice to take most of it down until the roof was on. Now we are back off grid again and using our local power company for extra demand if guest are in the rooms using aircons and boil pots etc. As far as our daily life here in the house we are fully covered. If just one guest room going we are still covered. If I add four more batteries we will have those other demands covered.

@@TexasFilipino Excellent 👍 My combiner box has been a massive asset for me since it's enabled me to max out my voltage to my all in one inverter inputs. But I'll admit because of that increased amperage I've oversized my cables both to the combiner box from the panels and the cables from the box to the inverter. I've gone with 8 gauge all the way across haha. But it gives me piece of mind and much less worry about possible fire.
