We've Had A Call From Security From One Of The Bank Places 😕🎥🛸👮♂️

- Today we take a look around THE ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND PLC, Cash Counting Facility, Kestrel House, Silica Road, Amington Industrial Estate, TAMWORTH, B77 4DT.
There are many things which we find interesting about this RBS Cash Depot, from the design of the front gate, the fingerprint access system and the speed of the police arrival.
We also read out a story about a £1.8M Gang Raid on the building back in 2007 and speak to the police about the improvements they have made to avoid a repeat. The gate was the weak point back then, and the new design is very interesting.
After walking around all the publicly accessible areas, we have a chat with the police and then take the drone up.
Enjoy!
Thanks to Carl & Alison Positive Audio Liverpool who donated the drone music for this video - / dirtydollop2011

Funny how the police have such a rapid response for a business, yet when general public call, it's a totally different story. 🕺
I've noticed that also, I've personally seen police respond within minutes whenever it's a bank or corporation.....I've actually had to call the police once before about some random ASBOS causing a stir outside of my house...police didn't even bother to turn up....complete waste of time.
But they only sent the caretaker, with his carer...
We the public dont pay as much as the big companies for thier security.😉😉😂😂😂
Banks are their number one concern
@@davidkn nah. It's funny
Pity the police can’t respond as quick to domestic calls.
To be fair, not many people have millions in cash sitting in their homes. This is probably justifiable in this case.
they piss me off and are constaly raiding people on my floor i must be the only one that is not a criminal, i thought i was been watched for a while was paranoid but it is my naighbours the dodgy cunts.
They don't care for the public only the big corporations or people with very deep pockets sadly.
“Fast response “! Would they be so quick if your house was being robbed? I doubt it very much.
LOL. They might, if you had £2 million quid in it....
Mate you have it all wrong, they are only on duty to protect the corporations who pay fuck all tax while making the likes of you and me pay for everything.
Why do they build fences to keep the crooks out , when the crooks are on the inside
The clichés are rolling from clowns like patrick......
Your house doesn't have hundreds of millions inside it .money rule ,simple as.
Slimy Sid from Spain, sends his lurve and says he's having a wonderful holiday on his yacht out there, and is very grateful to RBS. He likes the new gates too.
🤣🤣🤣🤣👌🏻
Did you ever meet Kenny noi or either of the kray twins?.......or even the guy in Cambridge job centre?!
Hahahahaha what you like 👍
The gates are angled outwards to prevent them buckling in a ram raid.
I'd rather not drive my vehicle into essentially the front end of a knife. :-)
Absolutely correct, impossible to gain access by ram raiding technique.
Triangles are good.
@@sampatel5509 Are you thinking of cheese ... !?
@@Jester-Riddle No, but now i am thinking cheese.
I'd say the copper passed the audit, he done his job, and got on with his business. Good audit!
shoild take sunglasses off, but that's picky from me
We need more officers like those two, calm collective and no ego trip.
Very professional response.
He couldn't wait to get away from the lip lock !
The gates are ‘Hostile Vehicle Mitigation’ gates and will be built to the PAS68 specification. These V-gates are bi-fold. One side will be the main hinged section and the other side breaks away when opening. The centre section is also hinged.
Nice copper, no edge, no agenda, you explained, he listened.
Job done.
1st thing I thought when I saw that copper was "How very dare you?!"
Interesting the way you managed to engage with the police AND talk about the security of that building without them escalating the situation. If it was a police station with an interesting high security gate they'd be using section 43
Not really interesting. DJ was being very friendly, and many auditors aren't like that with the police.
@@DaveThompsonfairlife4all Unfortunately, even if you're not breaking the law 'being very friendly' doesn't guarantee a positive police interaction
@@simonstclare , and that my friend is the truth.
amazing how some cops easily accept public filming while others have to be complete Canutes
If they had a call for a man with a gun or some kind of weapon you could understand the panic. For crying out loud what do these people think is going down ??? "Security Alert" chap with camera spotted entering the street !!!! It keeps us entertained....Will be ready with my tea n bickies later.
planning a job, he will state just doing an audit
Or it could be an armed robbers casing the site.
@@richardoakley8800 I'm no expert but I'm sure there would be much more discrete ways if the purposes were of illegal or ill intent... 🤔
The police wouldn't be doing their job if they didn't respond. It's not the turning up that's the issue, really. It's how they interact when they get there.
This constable was spot on.
At last a sensible cop who knows the law and how to treat the public respectfully. Well done !
Nice officer with the right attitude. Belongs to a generation that didn't pull on an ego with the uniform.
Wasted call out. The cops could have used their time attending to an actual crime.
Why can’t call handlers ask a simple question…. “In order to dispatch a unit, I need you to confirm if an offence has occurred” ? Simple, and it would save heaps of public money.
I think it’s angled to be more protective against ramming
Good job you recorded it now. They won't be counting very much cash in 10-15 years time!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏. Cracking audit as usual and what a great copper, who listened and did not let his ego get the better of him. Take heed to the young on how to interact with members of the public.
Pity they didn't respond so quickly when there is an actual crime, waste of taxpayers money
Taxpayer! The high finance NON taxpayer gets the police to action anything. Peace be unto you.
Angle of the gates is to prevent ramming through even with a heavy vehicle, the 45° angle would absorb the kinetic energy into the posts rather than the weak point in the middle of a traditional flat gate.
You just need to turn up with a heavy excavator..... would rip those gates clean off the posts !... lol.... There is ALWAYS a way to beat any 'security' ! ;-)
If you connected some strong hooks and cables to them and pulled them I bet they’d open too. But there are other weaker points than the gates still there
Borrow a recovery tank from Bovington Tank Museum.
Phototherapy/Recording in public is NOT a Crime !!!!
What a lovely copper, makes a big change we would have nothing to worry about if they were all like him, think he was trying to get away from u DJ . LOL . love your videos.
Why are people so bemused by a bloke with a camera, it always amazes me.
Because it's odd.
Yeah just a normal nonce looking for trouble....don't geddit ?
@@scotttchviski6706 Yes you most certainly are.
@@noneofyourbusiness9369 Have we met?
You can’t ram it like that. If the gates are flat you can drive straight through them. Great video just become a subscriber
Was about to say this :D
I was about to say exactly that
What Paul said ^^
Would like to bet crims will find a way. lmao
Doesn't stop you from pulling them😉
Well done. You communicate well and possess a good wit to boot which quite often brings out the best in folks.
You could be in the sky ages looking with a drone and no one would know,. I've done it loads at various places .. Why all the whohar with plainly visible cameras amazes me . Although in this instance the police were fine .
DJ There not anti ram raid barriers they are "Barriers of peace" Parliament has the exactly the same
Top audit as usual 👌🏼
Gates were definitely flat before, and almost 2 mil is a high price to pay for that mistake.
Never recovered either. 😮
@@DJAUDITS Well, that is what he Bank are telling their insurers anyway ...
The gate is set into stanchions on the left and right side. The apex of the angle on the gate serves to spread the force along the gate into the stanchions which will not give way. The pointed angle of the gate can also serve to disable a vehicle by slicing thru the front of the ramming vehicle. Because the gate is angled like that it's total length is actual longer than the width of the driveway making it impossible to fold the gate inwards with force. Unless you drive a tank into it, I would guess.
Gary Gemmell very well explained i thought it maybe to close quicker to stop tailgating but your reason sounds more plausible
I imagine the gates being in a V shape pointing outwards it is more secure, as someone trying to ram it, won't get through as they will cave in and strengthen. Just a thought...
That were my thoughts too
Need a jcb digger put the arm over and smash gates from inside no matter what you do there’s always a way around
@@jamesdean514 , that was my thought. It is designed ( in my opinion) to absorb the impact but someone with a bit of physics knowledge may consider that attaching something and pulling it towards the road would be a better option.
The ramp before the gates ensures slow speed and the angle of the gate is stronger
As far as I know that game shape makes it extremely hard to ram as it acts like a lever and reinforces it self.
V shaped gate means vehicle would not just batter through, would do more damage to a vehicle
The structure is stronger as a V as apposed to being straight. This is purely a security implementation so you can not ram the gates.
Exactly what I was thinking..
What if you pull it forwards?
fantastic audit. Really great interaction. Many thanks and please keep up the professional work.
DJ Audits...always acts very professionally and informative.
more mouth than auditor,
Your David music always has my feet tapping to the beat. Brilliant!
Wow a copper that knows the law one of the decent ones
Just getting the drone up there with nice music, total kick in the nuts for RBS
Another great video D j fantastic drone footage and great story you told 😀 👏
You are really good at this, so professional
AB is brilliant and so are you, when you both no the law as well as you guys it helps. I like yours because you make interesting videos and not just reliant on getting a reaction from security / police / employees etc.
Thoroughly reading various notices near premises can be very informative.
Nice to see really professional police..
Interesting one,yet another one to the collection. Nice one dj,have a good weekend mate
Well done, you got there in the end about the gate theory 👏 👍
Found a Getty Image from 2006, they were just generic flat white gates on hinge. I would suggest these fold to one side.
Don't underestimate those small PTZ cameras, modern ones can easily have 30-40X zoom on the built in lens.
Call the police, there's a strange looking bird hovering over Kestrel House.
Great background story really enjoyed the video. Thank you.
I’m from California USA, and really like your drone footage at your audits! Not many auditors here use drones! Brilliant!!! Keep up the good work and teach those who don’t know that photography is not a crime!
V shape would force the gates into the cab of the ramming vehicle unlike a flat surface that would spread the load (force)
Quite a decent meeting there. Well done.
Great interaction with the police they were knowledgeable what you were doing and left you alone interesting facts that this place had 2 million stolen and never recovered great drone footage and music 👍
Excellent video DJ, it's so interesting that the gates are in a triangle. You usually see them in a flat rectangle.
I think the angle of the gate will compensate anything hitting it
Your explanation was spot on, stronger gate. 👍
Great audit mate, well done.
I think that device is called a HandKey. It doesn’t scan your fingerprints though, it does a 3D biometric scan of your hand, measuring size, length, thickness etc.
Nice one!
Is placing the hand on the actual surface required? Being a bit pedantic but that seems a bit odd in regard to health and safety as numerous people are in contact with an uncleaned device.
@@johnvienta7622 Good Point.
Well done those officers, excellent interaction.
Give it a week and RBS will have a roof over the whole building and yard! Another brill audit DJ, thanks fella.
What an interesting video DJ and police officers were very friendly.
Another quality audit 👍
Btw watched afew of your videos and just subbed
Nice audit DJ, you're right about those gates, polite policemen 😁❤️
Didn't get a notification for this stream DJ. Good job mate 👍
Great audit, DJ 👍. I think you’re spot-on regarding the shape of the gates. It’s a brilliant design and no way would I be driving any kind of truck into that, it would slice right through me 😂😂😂. By the way, has anyone ever told you that when you laugh, you conjure up a bit of a David Brent in ya? 😂😂😂. Excellent work 👌. Keep going 🖖👍
🤣🤣🤣
Stay safe DJ,
Excellent DJ you smashing it fella good on you 👍👍👍👍👍
Interesting and great video, again. Carl and Ali have done great work with drone music. Cannot wait til tomorrow’s audit. Really appreciate D J ‘ s work.
Thank you.
Great audit DJ as ever re gate maybe it would be harder to ram through esp larger vehicles 🤔
The gate configuration makes opening and closing much faster than conventional configurations.
top audit DJ.👍👍
I may be wrong, but I don't think I've said this on any of your videos before, the police officers were amazing. Nice to know there's a few good ones out there. Gives us all abit of hope. Great audit.
The gates are shaped that way for 2 reasons really. If anyone tried to ram it head on, then their vehicle would be opened like a can opener (as you could imagine from the arrow point of it). And if they tried to hit it left or right of centre, then the angle of the gates would work much like the same way the angled panels of an an army tank works. A projectile hitting a sheet of steel on an angle has much less impact and ricochets. So the same sort of effect would apply here and in this instance, only a corner of the vehicle would hit the gate directly. Cop was a nice bloke. If only they were all like that.
good cops wow did we just see how it should be done ???? nice job as always DJ
A polite copper for once, oh yes he is older and not a young gung ho have a go cop. Another good vid DJ, very polite and very well researched. Keep them up.
Why are coppers not white anymore??
Great interaction with the police......
They were very professional 👏 👏👏
DJ penetrates their little Piggy brains with a load of nonsence
They get exhausted and pass out
🤣🤣🤣
Agree with Simon. Of all your audits, considering this was a bank site handling cash AND it had been a target in the past, I expected this one to be the one where you got the third degree. But he was chilled!
The raid happened in summer of 2006 and the lads where from Coventry
A great video today - really interesting.
13:00 they took my word for it... hahaha "yunno the shape of the gate..." loool
The reason the gates close at a tri-angle is because it is now many times stronger regarding a direct front end hit.
I imagined the gate is that shape to make it stronger, then when the ram raid story came up it sounds a little more likely
That seemed to go quite well!
I was trying to remember where I had heard of Kestrel House before until you said it was in Tamworth. I used to live in Amington. Haven't been there for years though.
These cops did very well… nice to know there’s some good ones out there who know what they’re doing.. thank you for your service gentleman. You’re appreciated
Good work as ever 👋
Very interesting 👌.
Surprised RBS haven't tried to get this one removed...maybe they did try?
Makes the gate more sturdy in case someone tries to ram the gates it would split the vehicle in half
Nice flying dude 👌
...stop the clock lol... you finally worked out the defensive gate =] (kinda obvious though ^^)
illegal number plate lololol good start lets see where it goes.
You should have tried the finger print recognition it might have let you in (Use your bank card) lol.
Nice officer's. Great content enjoyed cheers.
Keep up the good work DJ!!! gates are like that to make it harder to smash threw also can you do a few meat factory plants as not seen any before. ??
Law Abiding Citizen UK did this one about a year ago, he said the skip lorry drove into the brick wall on the side of the building which collapsed and was straight into the money room, which made it nice and quick and easy.
The 2 cops are a credit to the police force......i would lov them gates for my driveway...nice vid....THANK YOU.
Before he was the best-selling author of The Da Vinci Code, Dan Brown tried his luck as a musician. In 1994, he released an album called Angels & Demons, a title he reused for a 2000 novel.
I was talking to a chap about those types spikes along the top , at one low level spike , he jumped up and grabbed them .
They turned out to be rubber !
Health and Safety got mad , (they don’t want to hurt the burglars . )
Certainly interesting gates and yes it seems they are made this way to be more resistant ram raids. A tank would make it through but might be a bit conspicuous when driving through town. Looks pretty secure to me.
love it....yes and what a nice copper....
good interaction dj
Great police officers, nice to see very professional, all Credit to them good video stay safe retired lifeboatmen uk
