India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Tuesday schooled the European Union and its foreign policy chief Joseph Borrell after the latter called for action against Indian selling refined products made from Russian crude oil.
European Union पिछले एक साल से Russia से होने वाले तेल के व्यापार पर अंकुश लगाने की कोशिशें कर रहा है. ऐसा करने में असफल रहने पर अब उसने भारत पर निशाना साधा और भारतीय विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने बयान देकर उनकी बोलती बंद कर दी है.

What a hypocrisy by EU. They enjoy oil from India and yet criticize India.
America does the same too, imports refined, processed oil from India so that they can still claim green credits, while we are stuck with the disposal processes. Still that's where the revenues lie - business and livelihoods define global relations, not idle pontifications by morons.

@AGENT47? I don't disagree that the US have become a major oil producer, thanks to frakking and other domestic sources. However, with alternative sources coming up in a huge way like electric, gas, ethanol blends etc etc, I am not sure if the supply/demand for oil will be as before. Plus, US oil is not as sweet or easily refinable as the mideast or even the russian variants. Also, crude is proving to be not as rare as resource as it once was, with technology unearthing multiple sources like offshore and in many countries recently - think India offshore, Guyana, Africa etc etc.
Its same like they enjoy consuming drugs from South America and still criticize them for it
