      @Allen S The Husband and I had a 94 SE one of the best ever. The new ones cost a lot and are smaller the 90s GW were the lazy boys for the highway with aftermarket armrest and driver backrest went across the US on one it was even fun in the rain.

      Gold Wings are the best long-distance bike, hands down. They piss all over Harleys and Indians and BMWs in terms of reliability and comfort.

    I had a 83’ goldwing standard. Bought it off the original owner with 50k on it. Sold it to a buddy and it now has 70k.

    These sure are an amazing bike. Center of mass is almost on the ground. Super easy to ride

    I bought a Goldwing SE new in 95 identical as that one, same color. Someone at work owns it now with 130k miles on it. Still looks in good shape.

    I love the 1500 Goldwing se i had a 88 and a 94 i could ride for 200 miles straight in pure comfort only had to stop to fill up the tank. Then I traded in on a new 2001 1800 goldwing i love the power and it being fuel injection but the comfort was gust not there after riding 2 hours i couldn't wait to get off the thing i don't think the new ones are any different in comfort

    AWESOME!!! MEMORIES!! I JUST WENT TO STURGIS ON MY 95 SE!! It still keeps up n passes the newest harleys indians!!! GL1500 body is much better than the 1800 models. Thanks for the vid.✝️🇺🇸🍻

    Honda should have put this engine in the Civic. Give the “sporty” Integra the high revving b16 for the GSR and the b18 for the Type R. Then use this flat 6, low revving engine as the upgraded motor option in the Civic over the d15. It would have been perfect as a smooth, torquey and unique long distance commuter motor (kind of like it is on the bike)

      Best above 400cc, anyhow. Once you get into the big iron, there's nothing to compare to the Wing.

    For comfort, luggage space and sheer looks nothing beats the GL1500 imo! I'll never upgrade my '91 Aspencade. Low centre of gravity and wide handlebars make easy handling.

    17. Grand in 95 was a s*** ton of money. Wow and Honda obviously used top of the line engineering and parts for this bike because you can still find them to this day that works flawlessly. Bravo Honda

      Fortunately, you can find a good 1500 for less than 3K in today's money. They are two generations back, so there are more bells and whistles on the brand new ones.

      @@cindysue5474 yeah, I understand they are great touring bikes, don't get me wrong. I'm just not a fan of bigger bikes like that. Too heavy for me. I'm more of a middleweight type cruiser person. That's just me.

      @@MarkMeadows90 My Husband was 36 when we got ours yes they are heavy but they have great balance and you do sit low in the seat where the passenger is up higher.After the GW we bought a Valkyrie that's a bike you would like for a cruiser plus you can go cross country on it.

      @@cindysue5474 I do like the older Valkyries. Traditional style cruiser and a nice 6 cylinder engine. Sounds good with a set of pipes.

      They only ran a couple of colors in any given model year. That year they had magenta, green and red, none of which look really good on video.

      The GL1500 was replaced for the 2001 model year by the GL1800 GoldWing which was itself replaced in 2018 by a redesigned GL1800
