  • While Riley was home with his family in Windsor, Sam's family came to the West Coast for a visit! It was our first time staying in an oTENTik, located in Banff National Park. It is definitely a happy medium between camping in tents and sleeping in a cabin. Definitely a great time spent with family, and we were glad to even have Riley join us for part of it.
Other places visited: Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Banff Springs Hotel, Calgary Tower.

Thanks for sharing! What month is the best to book ahead Otentiks in Banff?

You would have to check the Canadian National parks website sometime in March! Each park will have a different day when bookings open up. It would be good to reserve right away when the bookings open up for Banff because they fill up very quickly!

Did you walk from tent to Banff downtown or parked in downtown? I loved it to hear you from Whiterock.

We drove to the city center at Banff. There's plenty of parking and it would be quite far to walk from the campsite
