Ukulele Festival Hawaii 2014 -- Jake Shimabukuro

44th Annual Ukulele Festival in Waikiki, HI on July 20, 2014 features Hawaii's ukulele wizard Jake Shimabukuro.
Roy Sakuma started the first and original ukulele festival in 1971 and today the festival is an international event attracting performers young and old from around the world and an ukulele orchestra of hundreds of children. In 2004 Roy and Kathy Sakuma established Ukulele Festival Hawaii, a non-profit charitable organization whose mission is to bring laughter, love and hope to children and adults throughout Hawaii and the world through the music of the ukulele. I was there with my Australian Ukulele performing group, and I managed to get a photo with Jake about 5min after this performance. The photo now takes pride of place on my mantle. :)
