California is a mess these days. Everything from the crime rate and homelessness crisis to the rules and regs and insane taxes. This is reporter David Nazar and I decided to ask retired Republican California State Senator John Moorlach what he believes is the problem in this state. I chose to interview a recently retired state official in the hopes of getting more honest answers since someone who is now out of office is not going to be worried about getting reelected and can be more uncensored. Retired California Senator John Moorlach from Orange County California spent two terms in the State Senate. Prior to that he was an Orange County Supervisor as well as the Orange County treasurer before that. Moorlach spent nearly 30 years of public service to the State of California.
