Hands down, my all-time favorite movie. I don't think it can ever be topped. Best movie quote I've ever heard: "Fear causes hesitation, and hesitation will cause your worst fears to come true.."
Great quote, also my favorite movie. I still go back and watch it every once in a while, still gives me the same feeling every time! I miss Patrick :/
Utah. Gimme 2 !! Still cracks me up 😁

@@alexsalazar1116”I’m so hungry I could eat the ass-end of a ☠️ 🦏 !”
Ryau dont get too aggressive
Still one of my favourite movies 👍🏻
My favorite movie of all time! Not even the remake came close to it. The music and some of the scenes are still remembered today. I have the movie poster in my gameroom and still watch the movie regularly. People always give Keanu a difficult time about his acting but along side Patrick Swayze (rip great one) and Gary Busey, it was the perfect trio. My favorite line: we'll get him when he gets back! He's not coming back! Thank you Patrick for giving us memories that will last a lifetime and thank you so much for sharing this with all us! ❤
I agree, it’s a great classic with awesome staying power. A mature, non stop Adrenalin rush with great characters. They knew how to develop characters back then, so they would bond with the audience. It’s my favorite Swayze flick for sure, and Keanu for that matter. At times lol Keanu was a little off beat w his delivery but overall he did a great job. I can’t see anyone else playing that part. I’ll see you in the next life, is my favorite line. Thanks for the great feedback.
And of course, the unforgettable performance of Gary Busey👍
@@NickP and I'll add the amazing tune at the end of the movie, nobody rides for free! How true is that to the movie and real life. Thanks again for sharing Nik. Looking forward to your next video.
@@cleetusvandame I love that track, and it was perfectly chosen to cap the movie. Thanks again, I’ll keep them coming!
I watch a LOT of filming locations on CZcams. And I have to say in all honesty, you line these shots up PERFECTLY! It's really cool to see how much hard work and dedication you put into these videos. Keep wm coming, dude!
Wow, thank you! I will keep them coming!
My favorite Keanu movie in he has been in some banger's great vlog Rest in Peace Patrick Swayze.
Def my fav with them as well
Great video! Thanks for posting. I talked to the writer Peter Illif a few years ago and he told me this about how he got the character names: "I'm a huge 49er fan. Joe Montana, Johnny Utah. A dear friend of mine I was waiting table with while writing the first draft helped me with ideas as we would cut lemons and prep for our shifts. His name was Bodhi. He came up with a lot of Swayze's stuff. The restaurant we worked in was called Angies. It was run by Angelo Pappas, a greek man who taught me how to drink Ouzo, which was part of the early Busey character, but later written out. Tyler was a hot chick I was crazy about who never gave me the time of day. Harp... hmm.... that i forget."
That’s great… many thanks for the awesome feedback and info!
@@robmanson6210 Me too. Peter also said the ending was a re-shoot: "You can tell by the hair. Studio felt first ending did not have a good fight. So months later it was redone. But Keanu had grown his hair for Bill & Ted 2, and Swayze cut his for City of Joy. But it was cool, because it suggests passage of time."
I always thought the names in this movie are very cool. Babbit, Pappas, Tyler Ann Enticott, Agent Deets, Warchild.
@@Bringos76you can also tell Reeves has a lot of extra weight on as well, always wondered about that
One of my 53 year old favorite movies ! I often think if I could only have 10 movies for the rest of my life , this is one of them ! Love Point Break !
One of my favourite 90's films. They don't make them like that anymore. Great location hunt there! Doesn't look as glamorous as it does in the film; maybe that's movie magic! Thanks so much
It's because of the sunshine contrast
Also a lot of these locations in l.a from films in the 90s the roads have all been modernised the signage is different all the different decor or buildings have been modernised and have a lot of health and safety features and regulations and a lot of things don't seem as bare and open as they once did in the 90s
@@rocknrolladventures when areas evolve they often lose their uniqueness, open space or big sky. The other week I visited my old university campus (I left there in 1997) and it has also lost some its appeal. Fewer open spaces, less greenery, and obscured views. This movie though was a classic. Remakes of these classic films often fall on their ass; the actors are not as tailor made for the roles and the storylines are stepped up in brutality and swearing or political correctness. I really hope they never try to remake Jaws or Aliens!
the one film that inspired 10 horrible fast and furious movies.
@@rocknrolladventures I was thinking almost the same. Compared to just 30 years ago the cities are becoming claustrophobic, everywhere there's a traffic light, a camera, a barrier of some sort. Ugh
I wanna go to that food stand where you can get 2 lemonades 2 meatball subs and a tuna on wheat for 7 bucks 😂
I've said it before Nick you're the best! Awesome vid to one of my all time favorites 🙏
Mark, you’re the best! Thanks so much

@@NickP your very welcome 👍
Wow you really did put a lot of time and effort into that video, thanks man. It is hands down my favourite movie of all time (hence my Channel graphic!) and I never ever tire of watching it. Kathryn Bigelow and James Cameron classic. Such a shame it came out same year as T2 coz that ruled the cinema.
Little hand says it’s time to rock n roll, I love this ****in job.
Cheers again man, 100% pure adrenalin video.
Vaya Con Dios. 🏄♂️👍

Absolutely beautiful place to be. I'll always love Point Break and is one of my favorite movies of all time. The score as well I noticed you used at the beginning is also one of the most beautiful scores ever composed as well. This movie is timeless. "Hey Nick! I'll see you in the next life!" Vio con dios
Great job friend! Thanks and greetings from Argentina 👍
Many thanks!
Hey welcome back fella 👍🏻
Thanks Doug!
Thanks for doing this. It is fun to see how things have changed over 30 years later. Hard to believe it’s been that long. I don’t know how you managed to even find some of these places and make the connection to the movie. Cool video, especially since I grew up in southern CA.
That’s so awesome, and the pleasure was all mine!
Thankyou for this. You found Bunker Weiss house! The only location I can't confirm I hoped you would was the party scene at Bohdi's house. Brilliant anyway.
Such a great film nice video of then and now locations

Thank you!
Great content bro 👍

Thank you!!! Very Nice!!!
great job. so interesting to see.
Thanks!
I grew up in LA. The chase seen in the parking lot. That was the fox hills mall. Used to go there all the way one time back in the days. Good video of one of my favorite movies.
I was in SoCal as a young Marine in 1991. I linked up with a girl named Michelle who took me to see Point Break in L.A when it was released. Nice memory. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, mate...💯
Very cool!
Great video! Very meticulous.
Thank you very much!
Brilliant
Nice. Always thought the "Utah, get me two" scene was filmed in a back-lot.
It's amazing how they make the background of each shot so 'pretty'.
Awesome luv this movie.
Also I've got a few more locations for you. Bubble boy and Little miss sunshine. Only if you're going that way. Keep up the good work mate 👍
