    Thank you very much for this video! I just watched it and followed your instructions. My tank re-set and I now have hot water again. Your video was invaluable, as I first thought that I would have to wait out the weekend and call in a professional. As a woman, I think it is a bonus that you are a woman showing us that women can do these tasks too!

    Thanks! You saved me a service call. I drained the hot water heater to do some plumbing repairs and apparently didn't let it fill up all the way before turning the power back on. It tripped the breaker in the main breaker box and fortunately didn't burn up the heating element.

  • @YankeesFlair
    @YankeesFlair Před 2 lety +36

    This was amazingly simple !
    I’ve always had gas heaters so I didn’t know much about electric and my hot water stopped coming out plus the previous owner didn’t leave me a manual.
    This was such a quick fix.
    The only thing I would add is that you might have to wait up to an hour before the hot water kicks in depending on how many gallon tank you have
    Great video

    Thank you very much! I had no hot water in the morning. I was able to reset the water heater and got it fixed.

      We are so glad to hear it. Hopefully you avoided a cold shower! We are out of the suburbs of east Atlanta and it is gonna be cold down here for our standards . Not a good time for cold showers.
