I have never tried to clean a car this way. I will keep this in mind. Austin, I hope you won't mind a suggestion that may help you, and others who make videos like this. If the work surface under the piece being worked on is a light to medium gray, there won't be the huge contrast in the video between the work surface and the dark areas, such as the trucks, and it will be easier for viewers to see more of the details you describe. I think I forgot about this at the beginning of one of my repair videos, and made the adjustment part way through the process.
What is a very light weight oil for wheels and couplers? Do you oil couplers? are you aware that Evap-o-rust does a great job of taking of rust, and especially cleaning track. It does not take off bluing, and removes all rust. Pledge also does a great job of cleaning and shining plastic. Love your content. Thanks.
The 910 is one of the very few freight cars that never came in any set. It was only sold separately. I have two of them! The correct pronunciation is, "Sel-un-neese."
The G. Fox box car was quite rare. As for locos, the 332 Northern from 1946 is vary uncommon along with the 21095 New Haven Pacific. And, of course, the 476 Rocket and 467 Comet B units from 1955 that never made it into full production are most desirable.
