Hey guys, quick question for you. I played HS and college ball in the late 80's early 90's, the bat of choice (for me) back then was the Easton Black Magic. As you know we didn't have Hittrax back then and I would love to know the exit velocity you guys would generate with the old Black Magic. How does a popular bat from yesteryear compare with the state of the art bats of today? I swung a 33 inch 30 ounce (drop -3 by today's standards), but the bat was not called a BBCOR. Would love to see the old bats against the new, great experiment.

@@madskrillz2 shit I'm 18... I was a washed up baseball player at the age of 13. Slowpitch softball is fun though. Especially since we just fuck around in the lowest division here.

I had to use this bat at one of my hitting lessons because my previous bat broke that past weekend. I loved it. The sweet spot is huge and it doesn’t ring you up too bad. Probably one of my favorite bats.

If it's the same thing that I think it is, seamless connections are old technology. I've seen TPXs from the besr days with that kind of stuff. The H2 Hybrid comes to mind. The golf industry has used the technology for years in their drivers since they're mostly made of titanium heads with carbon fiber shafts.
The ExoGrid BESR and its dead zombie cousins, the bbcor versions, are also 1 piece hybrids, not due to a fused connection, but because they had composite inner barrels over their aluminum outer barrel.

This build is kinda like the Louisville Slugger Exogrid 3.. The exogrid only has composite inserts but it has the same purpose as the HZRDUS!!

Ok so I have a easton S3Z z-core that has been in my highschools cage for who knows how long and this is a big thing to say but it is the goat.
