Gunung Belumut Recreational Forest is located 32 kilometres from Bandar Kluang through the Jalanraya Kluang-Mersing, 137 kilometres from Bandar Johor Bahru. The name ‘Gunung Belumut' is given because of the smooth and mossy mountain rocks.
For the journey to this mountain top, tourists need to go through timber roads using a four-wheel vehicle or walk along the tracks. At this foothill there is a medium-height waterfall where the water is cool and refreshing. It has become a tourist attraction especially in the weekends or holiday seasons.

Hutan Rekreasi Gunung Belumut terletak 32 km dari Bandar Kluang iaitu melalui jalanraya Kluang - Mersing, 137 km dari Bandar Johor Bahru.
Gunung Belumut diberi nama sempena keadaan batu-batu di gunung ini yang licin dan berlumut.
Perjalananan ke puncak gunung ini, pengunjung perlu melalui jalan balak menggunakan kenderaan pacuan empat roda atau berjalan kaki melalui denai.
Di kaki gunung ini terdapat aliran air terjun yang sederhana tinggi dan airnya sejuk serta nyaman, ia menjadi tarikan pengunjung untuk datang terutama pada musim cuti atau hujung minggu.
