  • Please notice the uncaring girlfriend pulling up behind me... She thought I was looking for something on the ground while I was desperately trying to get my breath back, LOL! I got out of the ordeal with only a couple bruised ribs. The Go Pro jinxed me!

    The sled was tipping to the right. Leaning to the left would have helped. Knowing the sled and your personal your limitations are a must. Starting the trip slower until you know the trail conditions would also be a good idea. Thanks for posting. Good lesson for beginners. Last time I hit a tree it was because I was playing around. Lucky for me it didn't end the trip.

    • @the_snopro
      @the_snopro Před 2 lety

      nah, look at the slomo, hes just an inexperienced rider... he got inside ski lift, which anyone who has spent time on a sled knows happens, and turned into it instead of trusting the machine. carbides arent going to do much in that kind of snow unless they are brand new.

  • @ninehundreddollarluxuryyac5958

    You got it pretty well centered on that tree.
    When you see sections of fence torn up by previous accidents, the challenge has been set!
    I agree with other comments that machine was sliding around a lot.
    They recommend carbides or other fixes for the skegs.

    There's a reason the trail Authority put a yellow caution arrow pointing to the left before the curve. It means you should slow down and take this one easy.
    Also, some nice carbide runners on those skis would have helped dig in and you might have avoided a direct hit
