Hey Everyone, thanks for watching! If it wasn't obvious, I'm going for a satirical style with these bat reps. I'm still figuring things out so any feedback is greatly appreciated. I know I need a better mic set up for these battles. Sorry about the spotty audio quality!
I like it, very tongue and cheek, really nice to see the ~Space Marines~ Battle Brothers in a way different from the traditional brooding and grim personalities we often see.
i really like the voice acting at the beginning of the rounds, and the video being only 23 minutes makes it much more watchable than most battle reports I've seen. also the armies and terrain look very nice :)
Excellent content. I really like how you guys briefly explain your moves in a very chill manner! You make the game very simple to learn compared to other channels tbh.
Good fun! I like that we get to hear from both players as we go along. I appreciate the effort put into the intro as well, it adds a nice touch. It's nice to see some alternate rules for objectives as well. Subscribed!

Enjoyable batrep. FYI, Power/Energy Swords are AP(1) with Rending, not 2. 🙂 Also, @14:30 - Moral Test, 1’s always fail, just like 6’s always succeeds. So even though he was fearless, he still would have been pinned. @16:06 - Moral Test, Dark Brothers have the “Grim” special rule giving them fearless, so the 2 would have passed. Note also that if he had failed, he would take a wound. Dark brothers never route as they have the “Grim” special rule making a model in the unit take a wound instead of being routed due to the “Grim” rule.
We have to use OPR models for the sponsored battle reports so I don't see them making a return for a while. I'd like to do bat reps for other games but I just don't have the time for it currently.
Forgot the Destroyer’s claws were rending against the warriors in round 2, those 6s would’ve been AP4 - only 1 saved. Also, Destroyer was Fearless, so he’d have been fine in round 3. The Alien prime warrior was reduced to half wounds against the Master Brother and would also have routed in round 3. Round 4, the prime warrior was already pinned from failing morale in round 3 (when he should’ve routed), and pinned units automatically fail morale tests.

Honestly though, fun battle and I loved the narrative, the sensors down the alien towers thing and the spore activations was really cool! And I did enjoy the voiceovers: “bro, bro, bro!” I about spit my coffee across the room!😆
No worries! We don't have a ton of experience with these rules, but we're getting there. Plus I'm learning rules and how to film/edit these in a narrative style at the same time. Thanks for the support!
I think the armies and a few rules need a bit of balancing, but play style does factor in too. If you are out activated you gotta castle up your army. That said, AH seem under-costed. I have not lost a game yet with them.
When fighting melee-only enemies, you should try to move back out of their 12" charge range, not move forward into range. OnePageRules doesn't care about facing.

Yo dude how do you feel about some of the advanced rules? I personally like Command points and extra actions

Honest question, since I'm new to GD.. Die battle bros look kind of weak in comparison to the bugs, do you feel the game is well balanced?
I think the armies and a few rules need a bit of balancing, but play style does factor in too. If you are out activated you gotta castle up your army.
That said, AH seem under-costed. I have not lost a game yet with them.
Is this like alternative history Warhammer 40k???
Kinda lol. Grimdark Future is like a simplified version of 40k. I'm using that ruleset and making up my own narrative.
