I visited an undisclosed location where a North Carolina man showed me his lifetime collection of antique cars. I also returned to places I recorded last year and discovered a few new locations. My dad had a part time job putting news papers out at different locations . I remember this being one of the stops. Brings back good memories riding with my dad.

Here’s a VERY easy thing to remember… no matter what part of the U.S. you go to and they tell you that the textile/mills closed down you NEVER have to question again WHEN it was… just always remember it was the around the CLINTON years! It was when NAFTA started and all textiles mills began to go over seas!!! Ring a 🛎️ bell??!!!!🤨🤨

Have you been to Hillsville Va? They have a box car restaurant that originated in Mt. Airy. The Hillsville Diner has great food and great people.
