I heard lots of hating on Dubai before i visited it. Comments like it's fake, it has no soul or character, etc. I was so pleasantly surprised that these comments are wrong. Dubai is wonderful, clean, has so much diversity and culture. I would really like to go back again one day.

I remember in november 2013 landing during sandstorm into abu dhabi..crazy turbulence but etihad pilot landing was very very smooth..this video reminds me of that because i travelled to dubai a few days after that..i miss uae 🥺😔

very lucky! out of the all the times i have been to dubai i have always landed on the opposite side of the runway and most of the time when the sun is down! it is a very beautiful clean city in most places and it is my favourite place. very nice video of dubai!

I remember seeing the then tallest building in the world, Sears Tower, when flying into Chicago in the 1970s.
This brings me good memories when I went Dubai in March 2015 with my parents. Insha'allah I will go Dubai when I'm older with my family

I was fortunate to fly Emirates between Doha and DXB back in 2016. Great service and food on a short flight. Wonderful experience interestingly enough both ways on a 777-200LR at the time.

In 2021, all videos shot before Corona seem to come from another world. You would see quite the same today, landing in Dubai. But it's just not the same. First thing you would think is: "Do I have my mask?" or "How's quarantine regulations in the Emirates?" It even would not be a A380. Long decommissioned.
I miss those days. Looking back, it is the same like before 9/11 and after 9/11. Somethinmg changed for good, and it is hard to describe exactlty what. But that has crossed my mind, when I watched this video.
