Shooting a Seascape at Sunset | How I approach a unfamiliar location

A lot of us have our favourite subjects and sub-genres of photography where we feel comfortable. In this video I find myself stepping out of my comfort zone a little by making the trip to St Bees on the Cumbrian coast to shoot a seascape, at sunset.
I don't do seascapes very often and when I do it is usually in Cornwall. Cumbria, whilst famous for the outstanding natural beauty of the Lake District, is less well known for its coast.
While I am there I share my thoughts on how we should tackle environments that we are less familiar with and also share some of my top tips for shooting coastal locations.
